Le duo aura mis 11 jours 19 heures 44 minutes 22 secondes pour parcourir les 4 350 milles théoriques depuis Le Havre à la vitesse moyenne de 15,35 nœuds, mais il a réellement parcouru 4 728 milles à 16,66 nœuds. Son écart au premier Arkema est de 1 jour 0 heure 30 minutes 3 secondes. Une troisième marche sur le podium pour Armel Tripon et Vincent Barnaud ! Une belle performance pour ce duo qui découvrait sur cette Route du Café les manettes du Multi50 à foils à bord de l’ancien bateau d’Yves Le Blevec (lancé en 2009) remis au goût du jour. Le tandem, avant même le départ du Havre, savait que la concurrence serait rude mais le parti pris était bien « d’arriver de l’autre côté et si possible de performer ». Contrat rempli ! This is the first Episode of the Tech Review offshoot channel of Cruising Off Duty. I bought a Camera Slider so that I could get those silky smooth product shots. I figured that was a must for my planned first episode where I had intended to review the different cameras I use to film Cruising Off Duty. But, I tried to go cheap and it cost me. The NEEWER 47" Camera slider I got arrived with one of the 4 legs broken off. It didn't happen in shipping because it came in a very padded package. So that mean the slider left the factory with one busted leg which is not something that screams "Top Quality Product" and good "Quality Control". Needless to say I am sending it back. Luckily I bought through Amazon so returns are not a problem. Since one of the things I said I was going to do on this channel is to review tech products and give you my honest opinion of what is worth buy and what you should avoid so that you can avoid spending your hard earned money on stuff you won't like or wont use. To prove that is the case, I am going to start off not talking about Camera but showcase this product and proving the old adage "You get what you pay for". The next planned episode will be going over the cameras I use, but I now need to wait for my new 32" carbon fiber slider (hopefully in good shape this time). After that episodes will cover: Various lenses I use, powered gimbals, drones, home automation technology, smart phones and tablets and more. Hopefully you enjoy this episode. Une journée magnifique sur le lagon à bord d'un bateau loué pour l'occasion entre potes et pour fêter l'anniversaire d'Amandine. Nous sommes partis vers le sud, direction la passe en S, puis la passe Bandrélé. Nous avons fait une nouvelle halte sur la barrière de Saziley puis pique-nique sur la plage à l'ombre d'un baobab. Retour par l'îlot de sable blanc en fin de journée. Souvenirs géniaux pour cette première location de bateau. C'est pour ce genre de sortie qu'on aime Mayotte. If Charisma and Aleph were the stand-out teams yesterday, today, the penultimate day of the 44Cup Palma, belonged to Igor Lah's Team CEEREF. In a return to their 2016-17 season-winning form, the Slovenian team won both of today's races. This elevated them to second overall astern of Nico Poons' Charisma which had another solid day leaving them with a six point lead going into the final day.

Anna took the sailing world by storm over a decade ago when she captured the Gold Medal in the Laser Radial at the 2008 Summer Olympic Games. She was dominant in the Laser Radial and on the Women's Match Racing circuit. Thanks to her performances in those classes, Anna won an unprecedented, four-consecutive Rolex Yachtswoman of the Year Awards (2008-2011). More recently, Anna paired with Olympian Paris Henken in the 49erFX to campaign for the Tokyo 2020 Games. Round two of the first race of the 2015 Formula 18 Worlds in Kiel. 100 Boats at the starting line and we found ourselves somewhere in the middle. Always loosing some boats upwind. We managed to gain quite a lot downwind. All ended in a big battle round the mark. The biggest impact on our upwind performance since then was to get the "head out of the boat". If you are always focusing on your telltales, watching the jib for the whole race you are only reacting. And reacting is too slow. If you are watching the water infront of the boat, looking for gusts and all that and spare some time to watch for other boats you start actual regatta sailing.
