It's pretty much the end of the season so we decide to get both boats on their trailers and in fact bring Mochyn Du home for the winter. I'm really glad I locked her up as someone clearly tried to take her trailer. The tether was completely undone and she had been forced off her connector, so it was clear someone had tampered with her. Anyway we get both boats inshore, and we firstly attend to Mochyn Du. We then sail Lulu to the ramp so we can also get her trailered and ready to leave next week. In this episode, we solo sail to the Isthmus at Catalina Island. We use the 135 genoa for the first time, make a few mistakes, and learn a few lessons. We run into our friends aboard sv AeroNautical, sv Riff Raff, and sv Stoked (@sailingsole ). Conditions were rolly at the anchorage, but we had some fun at Two Harbors beer fest as well as testing out the 9.8 HP Tohatsu outboard with the Takacat dinghy.
