Lately Sam has been from the frame from the last few episodes - why? where has he been? What has he been up to? Sam has been doing Tug & Barge work for the Townsville Port Expansion Project, driving a tug. The roster has been crazy hectic and a lot of the schedule has been the dreaded night shift. The expansion project ran 24 hours a day on 2 shifts (5am - 5pm & 5pm - 5am). The project has now wrapping up and we are thankful that there is no more night shift! Ep 82 - Raymarine Chartplotter & Radar Sailing Free Spirit Today we finally switch gears, (haha, get it) and move onto Electronics. We install our new Raymarine Chartplotter. We called the rigger to come back out to install the Radar since he clearly has no problem climbing up the mast.
