In an effort to standardize the way measurers around the world are measuring in sails, this is an instructional video on how to properly measure a mainsail. The purpose of this instructional video is to demonstrate the techniques of measurement of sailboats and their dimensions, their characteristics and their stability. This is brought to you by the Offshore Racing Congress and references the rules of the International Measurement System, although these may apply to other measurement rules as well.

Jeanneau designers aimed to enhance performance with the Sun ‘Fast’ version of this very popular cruiser/racer an this model has often been compared to the Beneteau First 36.7 cruiser/racer. ‘Sunstar’ was launched in the Mediterranean and was part of a sailing school fleet for six years before being shipped to Australia to be re-sold to her current owners.
