Da unser heutigen Segler wirklich sehr jung ist, haben wir, um Rückwärts-drehen bei der Seitenwechsel zu vermeiden, als Zwischenschritt "P.2 Knie auf dem Schott (Pinnenausleger auf der gegenüberliegenden Seite) - Seitwärts-bewegen - P.3 Knie auf dem Schott (Rückhandsteuern)" eingeführt. Das Händen-wechsel kommt aber, obwohl er so jung ist, wie immer, erst dann, wenn der Kurs stabil ist. So kann schon ein kleiner Junge bereits nach einige 10 Minuten das Boot nur mit Pinnenausleger sicher steuern. Dies ermöglicht, das überflüssige Abgewöhnen des Pinnen-direkt-Anfassens (bei mir strengst verboten!) zu sparen. Nach nicht mal eine Stunde beherrscht er das Seitenwechsel sogar mit Schot-Führung.

По своему опыту я пришёл, к тому, что новые лодки - однозначно нет. Если речь не идёт о яхте от одного миллиона евро. А всё что мейнстрим, ширпотреб, то надо брать трёхлетнюю лодку. Моей лодке 16 лет, я взял её, потому что то, что я искал уже не производят, или выбивается из моего бюджета. Плюс ко всему очень сильно упало качество корпусов и сегодня лодки строят "из картона". Из подержаных яхт лучше брать трехлетку. Все кто покупает новые лодки говорят, что в первые два - три года вылезает всё косяки. Приходится менять, дорабатывать, доделывать и допиливать. Но, такие лодки редко продают. Когда я покупал свою, я понимал, что очень много придётся вложить и заменить, но оно того стоит. Сам корпус очень прочный. Когда доделывали лодку, техники удивлялись, толщине матрицы, бортов и запасу прочности. Если новую, то от миллиона евро, если б/у, то покрепче. Какие были основные затраты? Первое, что отрезвило - замена всей системы охлаждения двигателя. Всё вместе с работой вышло около пяти тысяч евро. Понимаю, что переплатил. Сделали антифоулинг полностью. Вышло около двух с половиной тысяч евро. Сделали очень хорошо. За год лодка почти не обросла ничем. Сейчас мы заменили автопилот. Шесть с половиной тысяч евро мы выложили. Плюс арка, солнечная батарея. Но, чувствую, что основные затраты у нас впереди. Зимой поставим опреснитель, потому что его очень не хватает. Плюс нам нужно доукомплектовать лодку парусами. Нам нужен генакер. И нам нужен автоматический стаксель небольшой, чтобы ходить острыми курсами. Впереди ещё где-то двадцатка евро у нас светит расходов на лодку. Сколько стоят стоянки в маринах? Разброс сумасшедший. Первый раз мы заходили в марину ставить автопилот сто пятьдесят евро в сутки, а второй раз уже сто девяносто. Это за день. Для примера, мы заплатили две тысячи евро за полгода, чтобы стоять в Валенсии. В среднем мы считаем - сорок евро в день для 13-ти метров - это нормально, шестьдесят - это уже дорого. Сто девяносто на Ибице - это жесть, конечно. Очень важно на какое время ты ставишь. Если на год, тебе может выйти в месяц триста евро в месяц. Очень многое зависит от марин, от расположения и есть такое понятие как сезонность. С июня по сентябрь цены в два раза выше. Поэтому у нас стратегия - мы зимой хотим стоять за дешево. А летом стоять на якоре, как сейчас, но для этого нам нужен опреснитель. Не платить этих бешеных денег, абсолютно невменяемых. Какие ещё есть затраты, помимо основных? Что касается нас - это шенгенские визы. Каждый наш полёт в Россию - это 150 тысяч рублей. Если Ксюша ещё домой едет, это ещё 100 тысяч сверху. Солярка, если никуда не торопиться, то это не дорого. Бак залил - 240 литров, его может хватить на сезон, если всегда идти с ветром, если не будет никаких экстренных обстоятельств. А так из основных расходов - еда, рестораны, кафе, сувениры местного производства. Оглядываясь назад, жалеешь, что затеял историю с жизнью на яхте? Когда у нас что-нибудь ломается и накрывается посреди моря, прям думаешь все, край, продам к чёртовой матери. Но, я любую ситуацию визуализирую. К примеру, поставил объявление - пришёл человек, купил, что дальше? У меня нет ответа на этот вопрос, кроме как купить яхту. Т.е. у меня нет другого сценария развития событий. Да, возникает желание продать, когда что-то ломается и ты понимаешь, что попадаешь на деньги. Но потом представляешь - продал. В трудный момент да, есть крик души, но, если бы сидел в какой-нибудь московской или сочинской квартире - я бы там умер от скуки. In this video we leave the calmest anchorage, travel through the flattest seas, and snorkel in the clearest water. It was a rad day. RAD I SAY! Hawksbill Cay is the anchorage in the very beginning of the video. Amazing place. Great beach, great anchorage, cool ruins. Gotta watch out as your leaving because you want to be sure you've got plenty of water under your keep because you have to weave through patches of small, scattered coral heads as you depart. From there we head towards Soldier Cay to snorkel the Coral Garden that is just South of the Cay. There a little bit of intricate maneuvering as you leave the banks and strike off towards the cays, but it's not all that bad. I'll share some of the navigational details within the video. Once at the Coral Gardens we dive right in and enjoy Tambi's most favorite spot to snorkel in all of the Bahamas. She could spend hours snorkeling here. She does just that actually. She stays in the water so long that Molly and I head back to the dinghy to get un-pruny, but Tambi snorkels on - observing the plethora of sea-life and coral that exists, protected, in great abundance at this location. Sopromar and Marina de Lagos hosts the GC32 World Championships in the jewel of the Algarve, Lagos, Portugal.

Day one of the GC32 World Championship, taking place with the support of the City of Lagos, Marina de Lagos and Sopromar, started in an uncharacteristic southwesterly, blowing across Lagos’ bay and at times gusting to 16-17 knots. Two races were held in this before the lighter prevailing northwesterly filled in, requiring a new race course to be set up and a change from upwind to reaching starts. While the top four teams came out close, all had deep results, the most polarised being those of Alinghi, which ended the day second but tied on points with the leader, Oman Air.
