Discover Romeo. Although this dive site has a beautiful wall and very colorful plateau on the opposite end, this dive site is a great site for a night dive. If there is any current, it's easy to avoid witch makes it an easy site for night diving. The wall side has macro creatures all over the place, even an electric clam and a few pygmy seahorses. In the soft coral you can also find "candy crabs". The big reason why many divers choose to dive this site at night, is to find a walking shark on the plateau area. But also keep a look out for the stalking barracuda and black tip reef sharks. This video was entirely recorded on a GoPro Hero 7 Black. It's really not as difficult as people seem to think. I spend most of the day with Champ anyways, since we enjoy similar things, like eating food and being outdoors. I let the constraint of bringing my dog with me help me make decisions about where I go and what I do, so I avoid places that ban dogs, and therefore spend more time in nature instead of in cities. - How do you make it work as a digital nomad? My electrical power set-up allows charging my camera and laptop to film and edit almost daily. For Internet access quick and reliable enough to upload my episodes a few at a time, I use coffee shops and libraries. I also use a data package on my phone (10GB), a WiFi antenna, and a WiFi booster.

How we survive weeks away from civilisation and keep on Sailing! https://www.sailingnandji.com/ In this episode of Sailing Nandji, it is time to show how we can afford to live on our sailboat and travel around. We sail on a monthly budget and living from the land is a major part of that budget. We arrive back to Snake island to do some work and relax for a while. The weather had another idea though as we arrived in the middle of a heavy Sumatra squall with winds at 50 knots. Bonita teaches us a little recipe that she likes to cook when we are very low on fresh produce as we had only a carrot, some garlic and an onion left... We go diving and spearfishing chasing that elusive Dog tooth Tuna. With no sailing experience, we bought a yacht, got it blue water cruising ready and set off sailing to the Pacific! We have since cruised through New Caledonia, Vanuatu, the Solomon islands, Papua New Guinea, Indonesia and then onto the boat yard in Malaysia to prepare for the years to come. With a new engine, we continued onto Thailand, then back down into Indonesia and specifically West Sumatra where we are living the island life and chasing the surf. With our Sailing plans changing, we are returning to Thailand in the coming months and then taking the northern route of the Indian Ocean to the Andaman islands and onto Sri Lanka before heading south to Chagos and across the Indian Ocean once cyclone season has finished and the trades begin again! The adventure is just beginning! We departed the east coast of Australia in July 2017 and have since explored some amazing countries, met some beautiful people and experienced so many different and diverse cultures, dived pristine reefs, surfed solo in the middle of nowhere, spent weeks at sea, dealt with storms, big waves, strong winds and had the time of our life doing it! Hello Friends, On this weeks episode I introduce our viewers to the incredible Lagun Table Leg System. This is a modular table leg that can easily swing around out of the way and lock down to stay stable when needed. It can also break down into its individual parts and become self contained on the bottom of the table making the entire set up able to be stowed away. I first learned about this on Dawn Treader's Channel ( https://www.youtube.com/channel/UChVCFPfAhNhT7zKtvxSqPoA ) and then later saw that Mads from Sail Life had installed one on his first boat as well. I ordered mine a few days after watching Dawn Treader install one on their 1966 Allied Seawind and I am SO STOKED with it! I bought mine on eBay as a "Factory Second" for $149 but for the life of me I can't figure out what is wrong with it as I didn't notice any scratches or blemishes. We departed Bedwell Harbour at 5am on Sept. 27th. The previous evening called for 10 to 20 knots in the strait, perfect sailing conditions to get us home to Port Angeles. At 3am we checked the weather again, its changed to 20 to 25 knots with gusts in the high 30's. We needed to get home for work, so we went for it. Just off Trial Islands, a mile southeast, the wind picked up to over 30 knots with cresting waves. We clipped ourselves in, reefed the main and jib and let our trusty hydrovane sail us onward.

Melges IC37 Class members descend on the waters of Newport, R.I to crown their first-ever National Champion. Since the Class’s on the water debut in June, sailors have had their eyes set on this premier event and making their mark on the its history. This milestone event, hosted by the New York Yacht Club, will test competitors through eight scheduled races, across three days, in the very same waters they have sailed in all summer long.
