She is an attractive two cabin layout with L shaped galley to starboard, an L shaped and straight settee around a central table and a large head and shower with electric toilet and holding tank. Wywurri features a fully battened main with two in line reefing points which lead back to cockpit, boom bag and lazy jacks and a furling headsail. Her instruments are by Raymarine and include a chart plotter at the helm as well as at the nav station, wind, depth and speed on the coach house entrance, auto pilot as well is AIS. Deciding to cook a 120lbs pig for the non profit organisation called Casa Guatemala, meant we had a big task on our hands. We managed to feed over 100 people here in Rio Dulce, and raised a few hundred dollars for the charity, which goes quite a long way here in Guatemala. We used a rotisserie spit to cook the pig, and had to watch it for 12 hours overnight to be ready for the big lunch. The pig was raised on the farm at Casa Guatemala, and she was actually starting to eat her own piglets so it was her time to go. Casa Guatemala is a non-profit organisation which is now a boarding school in the jungle for all of the villages in the area, and if anyone is looking to do some volunteer work, we can highly recommend considering this organisation, which only charges a one time fee of $300 for long term volunteers. If there were ever the most idyllic and picture perfect spot on earth, this would be it! This is by far one of the most beautiful spots we've ever traveled and it felt like the scenery around us MUST be painted in because there is no way it could be real. We take three separate hikes within the Lofotens, one at the very famous Reinebringen, where we climbed over 1,500 steps to get to the top. 24 hour later we were in a much quieter spot all to ourselves and decided Georgie needed to go ashore to do a little exploring. Deux heureux vacanciers au milieu de l'Atlantique sur des îles portugaises : les Açores Destinations mythiques des navigateurs, territoires sortis tout droit de l'imaginaire d'un poète, îles aux multiples facettes entourées d'un océan brut, les Açores sont magnifiques. Nous avons eu la chance de parcourir 5 des 9 îles qui composent cet archipel durant 3 semaines. Entre randonnées, plongées, visites des petits villages pittoresques, baignades dans des sources thermales, dégustations de plats locaux, nous en avons pris plein les yeux. C'est une destination que nous ne sommes pas prêt d'oublier. La première île que nous avons parcourue est Sao Miguel. C'est la plus grande et développée des 9 îles, la plus orientale aussi. Connue pour ses sources d'eau chaude, ses bocages séparés par des hortensias, ses nombreux villages côtiers, visiter Sao Miguel est déjà un voyage en soi. Tant de splendeur dès le début des vacances, on ne pouvait pas rêver mieux.
