The work of maintaining a boat doesn't end once it goes in the water. There are always maintenance, upkeep and repairs that need to be made. Some work can only be done while the boat is out of the water. Many projects can be done while it is in the water. This video documents just a few of our projects on our 2005 Beneteau First 40.7 during the Summer of 2025 while she was in the water. Stuck on the ICW through Georgia, we weren't offered much in terms of novel views. As we crossed the Savannah River into Georgia, we saw more marshland on the ICW, had more bald eagle and dolphin sightings, and we did our best to at least motor sail our way south.
