Back on the mooring, the real work resumed, with our latest cockpit upgrade. When we were just about to enter Suriname we where not allowed to sail further and had to drop anchor offshore in the middle of the night... Day 20 of the 75 Hard Challenge… and today was a big reminder that mindset is EVERYTHING. Woke up with the best intentions… hit snooze… and suddenly it was nearly 9am 😅 But instead of letting that derail the day, I got up, got moving, and turned what started as a sluggish ride into one of the most satisfying sessions so far. Over a period of two and a half weeks in March and April 26 I explored the Galápagos Islands from above and underwater. My stay included a trip with the M/Y Aqua through the archipelago where we did 18 dives on the most famous divespots of the islands. We mostly had pretty bad visibility and strong swell. Nevertheless we encountered dolphins, hammerheads, sunfishes and many more marine creatures. Above the water I visited different islands (e.g. Floreana, Santa Fe, Isabela, San Christobal) with astonishing snorkling and beautfiul landscapes.
