Life at a marina is different than life at sea or life on land. It's sort of a comprise between the two. Pros: -Security: Your boat will not drag anchor or get blew away in anything short of a Cat 5 hurricane. -Convivence: Everything you could need is a quick car ride away or delivered to your slip just like with a land home. -Neighbors: You can meet some of the best and most helpful sailors here. -Homebase: It's a great place to catch your breath, do projects and prepare for leaving once again. -Ocean Access: Most days I can take out my dinghy or paddleboard and see what's going on out on the water. Cons: -$$$: It costs similar rent a 1br apartment in that particular area. -Noise: Trains, planes & automobiles are just a few things I don't miss about this lifestyle. Out on anchor it's just the waves and the wind. -Neighbors: Sometimes the people around you are not the nicest(drunk, smoking, loud, rude). -Privacy: With soo many boats and soo many people all around it can be hard to feel like you've got true privacy on your boat. Unlike being out on anchor. -Becoming Lazy: A boat, especially a sailboat is meant to be out on the water. Not sit at a marina. Often a nice marina like this can turn into a trap if you're not careful. I hope this description and this video gives you a better idea of what life at the marina is like. Join me on a full tour of this INSANE Majesty 140 superyacht by Gulf Craft. This super yacht is everything you'd want in a 140 foot vessel! Some highlights of this yacht include three beautiful decks, a hydraulic transformer/swim platform, jacuzzi, tender garage, multiple balconies, and so much more! This yacht won multiple awards when it debuted including Best in Show at FLIBS 2019 and Best Interior Design in the 30-50m category at the 18th edition of the World Yachts Trophies at the Cannes Yachting Festival. We take a wild route on this tour trying to capture all areas. Right off the back of the yacht you find a transformer/swim platform that sits flush when stowed. Con questo video ho dato un'indicazione di dove sarebbe meglio tenere la mano su un comando elettronico. Nel video si vede un comando a chiesuola drive by wire quindi elettrico/elettronico, ma il concetto di bilanciare il peso, e trovare un punto d'appoggio su punto fisso è valido con qualsiasi tipo di monoleva. Importante non è vedere dove metto le mani con precisione, ma cercare di trovare sulla tua barca un modo per evitare di essere "appesi" ai comandi senza punto fisso d'appoggio. La nuova collaborazione fra Marc Lombard e NAUTA Design dà vita ancora una volta a un risultato ineguagliabile, sempre con lo stile unico della settima generazione di Oceanis. Il layout del ponte è stato progettato per rendere gli spostamenti, la posizione alla barra e la vita durante l’ormeggio più confortevoli e sicuri possibile. Le manovre delle drizze e dell’avvolgitore si trovano a prua del pozzetto, mentre il timoniere ha un winch su ogni lato per regolare le vele di prua. Il tutto permette di ottenere un pozzetto interamente dedicato al relax e una circolazione fluida verso la piattaforma da bagno. I designer di Nauta hanno creato degli interni molto moderni, disponibili in noce o quercia di mare. I passauomo del ponte e i numerosi oblò dello scafo e della tuga diffondono una piacevole luce naturale e assicurano una ventilazione eccellente. Nel quadrato, l'ingegnoso tavolo da carteggio a ribalta permette di ottenere due cuccette singole aggiuntive. Uno stile deciso, riconoscibile fin nei minimi dettagli: gli allestimenti privilegiano il comfort, l'ergonomia, la luminosità e la fluidità della circolazione. La vita a bordo con la famiglia o con ospiti neofiti della vela è al centro di ogni nuovo progetto Oceanis. L'Oceanis 34.1 non fa eccezione a questa regola ed è la chiara promessa di uscite sicure con una barca facile da gestire, per qualunque equipaggio. L'interno è disponibile nelle versioni con due o tre cabine doppie con bagno. Indipendentemente dalla versione scelta, l’ambiente è luminoso e arioso. Quattro passauomo sul ponte, quattro oblò sullo scafo e lunghe finestrature nelle cabine permettono di godere pienamente del mare dal quadrato dell'Oceanis. L'assenza di paterazzo e la scotta randa posizionata sulla tuga trasformano il pozzetto in un’ampia zona dedicata al relax, ideale sia in mare che durante l’ormeggio. L'accesso al mare è diretto e molto semplice grazie alla piacevole piattaforma da bagno. Il team di Marc Lombard ha continuato a sviluppare la nuova generazione di carene: maggiore larghezza nel terzo anteriore per bloccare meglio il beccheggio di bolina e maggiore equilibrio nella barra durante gli sbandamenti.
