Le barche possono affondare? ... e allora le barche inaffondabili? Il principio è facile: Se le cose galleggiano, significa che spostano più chili di acqua rispetto a quanto pesano. Le normative restringenti degli ultimi anni, hanno reso la nautica da diporto certamente più sicura, facendo adottare ai costruttori maggiori dettagli di sicurezza. Tutto questo però non esclude che uno Yacht o una barca non possa affondare. Se il livello di acqua imbarcata, si infila in tutto lo scafo, e magari una camera stagna è rovinata e non lo è più, questo fa si che la barca non sposti più acqua del suo peso ma prima, lo stesso e poi meno. In the constant search for weight reduction JFA Yachts paid particular attention to the use of light materials, including laminates on honeycomb cores for the construction of the interior, the hull out of aluminum, a superstructure made of composite, and the Mast and Boom are made of Carbon Fiber. This resulted in a lightship weight of only 56T for this 85' performance, cruising catamaran. Delivered in 2018, NDSE was designed for circumnavigation through both poles, and has already been taken to Antarctica by her current owner. Whether you are cruising in the tropics or the arctic the NDSE is built to make sure you are comfortable and safe in all conditions. Equipped with a carbon mast and boom, NDSE features a sail plan tailored for high-performance sailing together with hydraulic fittings on the flybridge which ensures she is easily handled, even with a reduced crew. Externally, the yacht offers a large aft cockpit with a relaxing seating area on starboard and a dining table on the port side, together with large sunbathing areas and a daytime toilet. In order to limit the overall weight of the boat, the use of teak was limited to the deck forward of the owner's cabin, the aft cockpit, and the flybridge. In terms of performance under sail, she is very quick…. The sails were made by the highly respected sailmaker "Incidences" using the latest D4 membrane technology in order to combine form with stability, lightness, and longevity. NDSE achieves 11 knots upwind and 12 knots under gennaker at 90 °, with 15 knots of true wind meaning that she is capable of very good daily averages when cruising. French interior design house, Darnet Design, created a sophisticated yet understatedly elegant interior using natural tones. The furniture is in oak, contrasted by the addition of walnut with the space enhanced by the addition of multiple soft furnishings in bright colors to lift the entire space to another level and also allowing for an element of customisation by the new owner. The cockpit flows into the huge main saloon, with a bar on starboard and a more formal dining area on port side. Forward is the chart table which includes all the navigation equipment, significantly upgraded for global exploration by the owner, together with entertainment and excellent communication systems which allow for long stays on board. The owner's cabin occupies the entire beam of the boat, including a lounge area and large windows which flood the room with light and allow for splendid panoramic views as well as private access to the foredeck. The port hull accommodates the owner's bathroom, a children's cabin with 3 beds, together with a guest cabin aft. The aft section of the starboard hull accommodates the 4th guest cabin. The forward section is dedicated to the crew with the captain's cabin, a double cabin, and large galley with crew mess. A 16' tender aft of the cockpit is launched using a Tenderlift platform. The many exterior lockers offer ample storage for fenders and mooring lines as well as an array of leisure equipment (inflatable longboards, Wakeboard, etc.). I always felt like i had more power in reserve and really noticed the torque of the props at the dock when parking. This boat is ideal for getting to your lunch spot at 22kts and and having the best lunch of your life. After lunch when the bottles of Rose are finished and everyone is in the mood, that's when you kick it up to 31kts on the way home with the sun setting and your favourite sing along pumping on the stereo... just imagine that. La misura dello Yacht più grande del mondo oggi è di 183 metri scarsi ma non è di Jeff Bezos. È di Kjell Inge Røkke Il REV di Røkke, è in costruzione e dovrebbe essere consegnato nel 2024 anche se ha già fatto il varo. da Yachtworld: Il REV non è solo lo yacht più grande del mondo grazie ai 9 metri che lo separano dalla concorrenza, ma è anche all’avanguardia dal punto di vista del design e delle specifiche. Grazie alla collaborazione tra l’architetto navale Espen Øino il progettista e armatore Kjell Inge Røkke, garantisce i più alti standard di efficienza del carburante, inquinamento e impatto ambientale; grazie a un sistema di recupero del calore, inceneritori ad alta tecnologia, riduzione del suono e delle vibrazioni, motori elettrici diesel e un sistema di trattenimento delle acque di zavorra, lo yacht è pensato per rispettare il Codice Polare dell’IMO, che richiede che le navi siano in grado di operare autonomamente per 114 giorni in condizioni artiche e antartiche. Progettato sia come nave da ricerca che come nave da spedizione di lusso, ha un’incredibile autonomia di 21.120 miglia nautiche navigando a 11 nodi. Nonostante REV sia già stata varata nel cantiere navale VARD in Romania, saranno necessari ancora circa 8 mesi di lavoro prima che la nave sia pronta per ospitare passeggeri. Jeff Bezos ha uno yacht lungo solo 127 metri Bezos e lo yacht ingombrante: il ponte di Rotterdam dovrà essere smontato per farlo passare Lo yacht di Jeff Bezos è stato costruito da Oceano di Alblasserdam: si tratta di una nave a tre alberi così grande che non riuscirà a passare sotto il ponte di Rotterdam. Il comune, in un primo momento, aveva fatto sapere di aver accettato la richiesta del costruttore navale, di smantellare una parte del ponte, per “semplice pragmatismo”. Questa concessione “riguarda solo il passaggio di una nave con alberi alti attraverso De Hef – e poiché non si può alzare come un ponte levatoio -, l’unica alternativa è togliere la parte centrale”. Oceano e Bezos rimborserebbero comunque i costi. Attualmente lo yacht è in costruzione ad Alblasserdam, vicino a Rotterdam: vale 430 milioni di euro, è alto 40 metri e lungo 127 metri. Supererà anche la Sea Cloud, barca a vela costruita nel 1931 e di proprietà di Yacht Portfolio, una società di investimento con sede a Malta.
