Im Januar 2006 segelte die "Alexander von Humboldt" rund Kap Hoorn auf ihrer Reise um ganz Südamerika. Sie feierte damit ihren 100. Geburtstag. January 2006 the "Alexander von Humboldt" sailed round Cape Horn on her route round South America. The ship celebrated her 100th birthday.
