Virginia City, NV may be set in the 1800′s but the entertainment is timeless! It is a town rich in history and the home to a lot of firsts and lasts. Mark Twain first used his pen name here, Janice Joplin joined what would be her first band and they have the last full speed stagecoach ride. There is an ever evolving calendar of events and something different almost every weekend! There are wild west show downs, themed balls, silly parades and museums galore. You can walk the town and enjoy the shops and saloons or dig in your heels and try every adventure. I love costumes and you have to love a town where you can dress in 19th century attire and blend in. We worked in that Club Med as Diving GO and Photo-Lab (underwater photographer). This is the 3rd version of the video made for weekly entertainment for our GM's. The 80's were great years for diving vacations with Club Med. The international team of great GO's made the experience memorable to all! This film is dedicated to all ours friend GO and GM! Filmed in 1986-87 and put in digital video much later.

http://sailing-phuket.com/ - While we where on a dive and sail adventure in Chagos I had a rather scary encounter. On the way up from a deep dive I got bitten by a Moray Eel!! I had to do a 14 minute decompression stop which turned out to be quite exiting. I felt like being on the menu for plenty of sharks I had to fend off. This was not what we regularly encounter on our yacht charter cruises and I sure will be more careful in the future! Every time I go to do a boat project and I am not 100% sure of the process I go to the web and search for how other folks have accomplished it. In some cases, I would find some information and in a lot of cases I wouldn't find what I was looking for when it came to doing this work specifically on a boat. Here in this video, I am going to review how we refinish and varnish the boat interior for that "glass like" finish.
