Drake Roberts and Monique Davis crewed for Captain AJ Smith aboard Swan 48 'Bella Luna' in February of 2012. We sailed from Savannah, GA to the British Virgin Islands and then on to Saint Martin. The 1,500 nautical mile sail took only 10 days. We averaged about 150 nautical miles a day! Swan 48 'Bella Luna' in an extremely fast and maneuverable cruiser/racer charter sailboat.

Taping of 1 of 2 bald eagles. These two Bald Eagles recently had babies and 1 guards the nest at all times. It was some neat stuff to see and it was close to my house in the City of York Pa.. I have my daughter running in a track meet,I put her first swimming meet on here to. Caught a big freaking snapping turtle and showed him off to my friends. A story about that turtle...that night I had him in my house...have a three story house and so I left him and his dangerous ass on the first floor....well when I awoke in the morning the SOB had climb the steps to the second floor!! He was scarie looking and dangerous. Whatever he locked his jaws onto he didnt let go. The turtle can latch onto something and has enough strength to hold his body weight,, of 25 pounds with his jaws...Stick a pole near him and he grabs it and wont let go. The next day while I was in the creek, he somehow got out of the back of my pickup truck and I never saw the Monster Turtle again...Turtle are smart ass shit Yo

With full sails up we encounter a few gusts after entering Pittwater, Sydney. Wharram cats don't usually have a centerboard so we are adjusting our technique on a steep learning curve. The boat suddenly accelerates and starts to lean over in this video. I abort my walking around and jump back to the helm and start rounding to bow up into the wind to slow the boat down. It is the first real test of the centerboard and the boat is behaving more like an off-the-beach-cat. It is just a little more excitement than we are used to! The Admiral declares we are going too Fast and she was right! Feedback always welcome and thanks for looking.

Sailing towards Broken Bay NSW in the Hawkesbury River. Like many owner built boats, its a work in progress....We have the basics working and can live aboard for a few weeks in relative comfort. The centerboard has made a huge improvement to the windward performance which was basically a joke before.
