So the plan was to head off to Fambridge today, just a bit further up the Crouch, before the weather turned but it didn't happen. In brief the outboard kept cutting out so we turned back. All it turned out to be was the small lever that selects between the onboard fuel supply and the remote tank had been moved so the engine was being starved of fuel. Silly mistake but as we never move that lever we didn't think to check it until we had had enough on returned to Burnham. Still all's well that ends well and we had fun in other ways instead.

I took this video on our delivery sail yesterday sailing the Jeanneau 439so Sailboat out the San Diego Bay out to the Ocean. On this yacht we have a Furling Main Sail and ordered the yacht with 140% Genoa and had a custom North Sails A-sail made and have to say this is truly a fast sailing boat.
