Often, people don’t imagine or are not aware that garbage thrown at the sea can travel for miles and miles, putting the marine life in danger and polluting a beautiful place like this. We were really sad to find that, so we picked up all the plastic bottles we found and took them to the boat to be compressed and kept until we arrived in the port to have them recycled. The show is predominantly targeted at the super yacht charter market so there were few sailing boats on display but it was a well organised event with plenty to see and do. The exhibitor's marquee offered the kinds of goods and services one would expect from such an event, including a chandlery, upholstery stands, representatives from the paint industry as well as aspirational resorts and spas. I bumped into Mae, who recently came sailing on Esper, who has been considering a career change from her teaching profession. She was recommended approaching the Galileo Maritime Academy where she chatted to Sana about crewing on super yachts. Durante la stagione delle regate poi viene selezionato un gruppo che parteciperà alle regate da quelle più semplice e brevi a quelle più impegnative (d'altura) e di livello internzionale BRINDISI-Corfù, SALENTO-MONTENEGRO , GALLIPOLI- VALONA.

City Sailing Sail Man Overboard Board using your engine This is a demonstration on Man/Woman/Dog/Hat Overboard by using the method of a controlled tack and not touching anything and then using the engine to glide in sideways towards the object in the water. People will say it is easy in these conditions, it is a demonstration to show the method. We do not cover how to get the person back in the vessel, this will be covered later. This method is different for different vessels, we had a go in a F40 which was difficult to stop as the jib sails well when backed! After spending 5 days in the Belize jungle we took a water taxi to Caye Caulker. That island is about 5 miles long with around 1,000 people. The roads are sand and there are no cars. Best of all there are no chain restaurants or hotels. Very low key.
