Ep. 23. We spend a day checking out what was on offer on Vava’u Island, we go to a local Church and listen to the most amazing voices, we take a ride with some fellow cruisers in a mini bus across the Island to the Botanical Gardens for a feast.

Ep. 24. This a nice fast passage for us on Annecam, 180 nautical miles on day one and 205 on day two, a smidge over two days for us on Annecam.

In June of 2016 I crewed on a Yacht delivery from Fajardo, Puerto Rico to the Outer Banks, North Carolina by way of Bermuda due to a storm that was bearing down on us. The Yacht was a 45' Dufour Sloop; S/V Cunning Plan. Follow along our adventure from Puerto Del Rey Marina to Saint George's Bermuda and on to the Oregon Inlet and the Outerbanks, North Carolina. From Squalls to engine failure to a scrambled auto pilot we came across a have sunken dismasted sailing vessel dodged reefs in Bermuda and lost our rudder in the Oregon Inlet. Après avoir retrouvé sa quille, hier, le 60 pieds Imoca de Paul Meilhat a retrouvé les eaux de Port-la-Forêt ce vendredi matin. Première navigation dès lundi pour le tout jeune papa et le bateau, fins prêts pour prendre le départ du Vendée Globe, le 6 novembre prochain. Pour ces prototypes de l’extrême, une mise à l’eau est toujours un indicateur positif, et le retour à l’eau de SMA, désormais paré pour affronter les mers du globe, met un terme joyeux à huit mois de travail acharné. With sailing abandoned again due to the Mistral, here are some sights and sounds from the dock. With only one day’s shooting under our belt it is a little disappointing but the size of the yachts is just extraordinary – not too mention their mother ships and tenders. The images just don’t do justice to the scale. Substantially the smallest boats were the media ribs Cros and I were on.
