We had a great time on Ilha do São Nicolau, Cape Verde! A beautiful green island with very friendly people. We stayed at anchor in the fishing village Tarrafal and explored the island by foot and Aluguer. We also went on a spontaneous hike in flip flops and found the amazing cliffs in Carbeirinho. We are a Swedish couple who wanted a different kind of life. So we moved aboard our sailboat RAN, a custom built aluminium Beason 40, and untied the lines in the middle of the Swedish winter and started to sail south along the coast of Europe. There is no set route and we will go where the wind and our minds takes us. Finita a prima fase della preparazione, allestimento e varo del nuovo Bavaria cruiser 37, comincia il trasferimento da Antibes a Procida. Sarà un trasferimento con condizioni meteo abbastanza impegnative....tranne la prima giornata con assenza di vento, i restanti giorni sempre vento sui 20 kt di media e qualche ora anche superiore ai 35 kt....in tutto questo siamo stati positivamente sorpresi dalle qualità nautiche del Bavaria cruiser 37, oltre che dalla velocità...in più momenti e non in planata, ma costantemente siamo stati sotto i 10 kt di velocità....Insomma alla fine ci siamo divertiti e non poco...anche se ci è mancato un pò di sole e caldo....ma era marzo!!!

Heute das schwimmende Zuhause von Deborah, Rene, Leo und Michel mit ständigem Liegeplatz im Traditionshafen zu Lübeck. Gemeinsam verbringen wir ein paar Tage auf unserer südschwedischen Lieblingsschäre Tjärö, segeln zu den Seehunden auf den Erbseninseln und über die Nordspitze von Bornholm nach Mön. Die Aufnahmen sind - bis auf die, wo man THORFINN segeln sieht – alle mit der Sony A7rII gemacht. Als Objektiv kam hauptsächlich das Sony FE 2.8/24-70 GM zum Einsatz: Eine unschlagbare Kombination. Natürlich sind die Aufnahmen wieder in 4K. Wie immer viel Spaß beim Mitsegeln!

While we were sailing south from Hilton Head Island, South Carolina to Fort Lauderdale, Florida in November 2016 we were visited by a pod of dozens of Spotted Dolphin who spent hours playing around Harmonie as we sailed along the central Florida Coast.
