We are on a mission to get from Kusadasi to Marmaris to repair our broken halyard but that doesn't stop us enjoying the journey and seeing some amazing sites along the way like Ancient Ephesus, the mountain town of Sirince and cute coastal anchorages. We are even brave enough to put up our Genneka for the second time (last time we ripped her in half) watch and find out if we rip her again!! We are the Robbins family sailing on our boat named Nikau. We are a family of 5. Our 3 kids are doing NZ correspondence school on board. They are growing to love it! What's not to love about 3 hours of school a day and then a different playground for the afternoon every day! We've traveled from New Zealand to Sardinia in Italy to pick up our boat and we plan over a few seasons to sail her back to New Zealand. We hope you enjoy following us on our adventures! This is first glimpse of a small fraction of the footage we've been accumulating in the hurricane zones to document the recovery progress in the affected islands. We stopped in Dominica first on our way north through the zone and spent an entire week walking, hiking, and driving all over the island, talking with friends and locals that had lost everything after Hurricane MARIA wreaked havoc on the island back in September 18, 2017. We are continuing these efforts as we speak, with St Martin and British Virgin Islands (BVIs) next on the list before we leave the area prior to the coming hurricane season. After that we will be heading South to Bonaire, Curacao, Aruba, and on to spend next season in Colombia, Panama, and San Blas area. Without a weather forecast, we attempt to sail upwind to Noro being smashed by squalls. https://www.sailingnandji.com In this episode of Sailing Nandji, the question is asked. Why is it so hard to turn around? We attempt to sail 80nm to Noro without a weather forecast. We are hit by squall after squall and despite all of our attempts to make ground, fail to do so. We eventually make it to Noro sailing upwind into the night, through the unpredictable seas of "the Slot". We stock up on food and set sail once more, heading for Gizo where we will prepare to leave the Solomon Islands bound for Papua New Guinea. Dominica has spectacular scenery with breathtaking views over the volcanoes peaks or from the top of them. Truly a nature island. We visited Dominica 6 months after hurricane Maria left deep scars, but even so we loved it all, imagining just how much more beautiful it must have been before Maria. In part 1, we visit the south half of the island: Roseau, Trafalgar Falls, cool swim at Titou Gorge, hike the 6 miles of the Boiling Lake trail, relax our muscles in Wotton Waven hot springs, swim in Emerald Pool, visit Scott's Head and snorkel at Champagne Reef. It was all an unexpected surprise, way above expectations, and we felt very safe both in the anchorages and while visiting inland. April 2018

s/v Cloudy Bay (Hallberg-Rassy 54) spent 2 days on the small pretty island Terre-de-Haut in Les Saints, Guadeloupe. Fun day on the scooter, exploring all the beaches and the mellow hills. The small town of Le Bourg is very quaint, and we had the most amazing ice-cream there!

La Serra / Terrario è ideale per creare un microclima tropicale o per aiutare a germinare semi primaverili con temperatura ancora troppo bassa, il cartone si comporta ad ogni irrigazione o vaporizzazione, l'effetto serra intensificato il calore facendo evaporare l'umido depositato nella struttura, avere uno scambio d'aria con l'esterno si sviluppa il microclima Completamente personalizzabile a partire dalle misure in base al cartone usato. Si usa la carta stagnola in base alle esigenze in termini di riverbero luminoso ma attenti a non esagerare e non tenere troppo esposta al sole diretto. Con un tocco di arte puoi abbellire e personalizzare la tua serra a livello estetico per renderla più gradevole alla vista. Per serre molto alte si consiglia di posare dei massi sul fondo per evitare che si giri in seguito di raffiche di vento.
