On this Ottmans run I got the following achievements: Conquer Rome, Moscow, Istanbul Assign Pasha to Paris Unify Islam and a few others Basic guide: War on Byzantium + Serbia, take Istanbul, Kosovo, etc Secure borders against QQ and Mamluks, clean up Anatolia and Crimea Use QQ against Mamluks, betray QQ as they get attack from the East Slowly push into Europe, once you have a core on the Adriatic Sea, you can claim on Papal States and claim Rome. I had to go through Poland/Lituania to get to Muscovy, but it only took one war each to get Moscow. Paris was trickier, but eventually I snaked in through the North Coast. Had to fight Spain 3x, Morocco, Yemen, Transoxiana, Gujarat and more to unify Islam

Von Lohals auf Langeland war es nicht mehr allzu weit bis in unseren Heimathafen Heiligenhafen. Da zwei Tage später Südwind angesagt war, wollten wir die verbleibende Distanz also in einem Schlag segeln. Das Wetter bescherte uns war ordentlich Wind - in Böen erst bis 28 Knoten und später noch etwas mehr, so dass wir schon mit eingebundenem Reff im Großsegel los segelten. Auch die Windrichtung war anfangs suboptimal, so dass wir hart am Wind kreuzen mussten und mit Gegenstrom kaum voran kamen. Später wurde es soviel Wind, dass wir auch die Selbstwendefock halb einrollen mussten, um nicht zu viel Lage zu haben. Auf dem Backbordbug segelnd hatten wir bald ein weiteres Problem - das Seeventil unseres Waschbeckens machte Wasser und wir mussten schnell eine Lösung gegen den Wassereinbruch finden. Estávamos ansiosos para a chegada o Halloween por aqui. Sabemos que era mais uma data para crianças, mas estávamos ouvindo os preparativos pena net dos cruzeiristas e ficamos super empolgados por eles. Pensamos em roupas, maquiagens, tudo! Essa semana foi muito especial por aqui! A gente encontrou os Songsters que estavam de mudança para o barco, fizemos Thanksgiving no Planckton e ainda tivemos todas as festividades do Halloween. Eu achei muito incrível a dinâmica de passarem de barco em barco pedindo doces com os botinhos. Ver as crianças com os mapas, fantasiados, os adultos entrando no clima... foi muito mágico! Isso sem contar as festas! A gente começou a tomar vinho 16h da tarde, daí saímos para a Le Phare Bleu, depois ainda fomos para o Cruiser's Reef. Final da noite minha maquiagem já estava uma belezinha... mas quem se importa? Nos divertimos muito! Queria mais Halloween! It is a remarkable morning in Tokyo Bay and has the potential of being a milestone day. So I spent it solo sailing. Just Wahine, Skylie ll and me. The lightest of winds at the start but they did pick up some later. Skylie ll ( aka the Hydrovane) manages even in the lightest of winds. So join me as leave the dock and the marina, , navigate through the channel, under the bridge, passing by Disney, unfurling the genoa and setting up Skylie ll for a few hours on the water. And you may be relieved that I don`t talk too much on this! :). And as I arrive back I get the news! It was good news 15 months ago just to leave the dock on my own and come back to dock was a big deal. I have learned so much these past few months, and every time I sail, no matter what the conditions, I had another layer of experience. 6 months from now I will leave the Marina for the last time. Our neighbor invited us over to enjoy his traditional family Sunday breakfast. How could we say no?? Our time in Antigua & Barbuda has been filled warm receptions everywhere we go. Everyone waves good morning and says hi. People tell us the are happy we are here. This has been an unexpected and welcomed contrast to our years in Manhattan, New York. Would you believe after two years in one apartment, we never met any of our neighbors? Not even anyone on our floor? Breakfast turned out great and we learned a lot from Randy's cooking. He already invited us back for a big Christmas meal!
