We join the Jeep Club for a run from Silverwood Lake to Lake Arrowhead on 2N33 and Pilot Rock Truck Trail. The women take the wheel for this Jeep run and the guys kickback as passengers. Beautiful lake views and forest trails in the San Bernardino Mountains. We cook up a lunch of Gyros under the evergreens and later visit Lake Arrowhead Village for a cold beer.

After an 18 month break the GC32s have taken flight once again in the foiling capital of Lagos, Portugal. Racing will take place between 1-4 July 2021 for the GC32 Lagos Cup 1.

After we crossed the Panama Canal, Covid made traveling the world by sailboat much more complicated. This is our story of "escaping covid". With Panama locking down, closing airports, limiting boat movements and refusing to issue exit documents, we decided that we had to get out of dodge. In mid-March 2020, our first two choices (Galapagos and French Polynesia) closed their borders and we decided to take the big leap and embark on an unplanned nearly 5,000 nautical mile passage into the world’s biggest ocean.
