Dopo sette giorni negli States, siamo pronti ad affrontare le ultime 10 ore di volo da Los Angeles a Nadi. Siamo di nuovo alle Fiji, raggiungiamo Vuda Marina, rivediamo volti amici e ritroviamo i sorrisi di sempre. Ci ricongiungiamo con Y2K dopo 3 mesi di separazione. Sta bene, un pochino impolverata, qualche formichina qui e là, ma sta bene. Nessun ciclone ha toccato le Fiji in questa stagione, siamo stati fortunati. Nel caldo cocente di fine estate australe, tra un assalto ed un altro di nugoli di zanzare, iniziamo i sudatissimi lavori di pulizia e "ripristino" di Y2K. Tante le cose da fare e tanti i liquidi che evaporano dai nostri corpi 😊 E tanto per gradire, ci si mette anche l'emergenza macchinetta del caffè 😊 Alla fine, noi e Y2K siamo pronti per lasciare il cyclone pit, passare qualche giorno sui "trespoli" per sabbiare la coppercoat, mettere l'antivegetativa all'elica e finalmente tornare in acqua. We were both at the ends of our rope; having just moved aboard with our stuff in piles everywhere, no functioning water system, and both of us about to go into a week of work....the toilet broke. Somehow we got through that week with no functioning toilet (since I was working 12 hour shifts, I had no time to troubleshoot, and Kailey was busy with work, Marlow, and other household stuff). We knew we would have to take apart the toilet at the very least to service it, but also knew it was a distinct possibility that we would have to open up more of the hoses that were likely caked with years of use...essentially dismantling the entire system and starting *almost* fresh. But lurking in my dads garage was a purchase from the year previous....enter the composting toilet, "the Airhead". As with many boat jobs this video shows no projects entirely completed, but well on our way. The Victoria Classic Boat Festival has been delighting classic boat owners and wooden boat fans since 1977. The Maritime Museum of BC puts on a great show of boats from all over BC in Victoria's Inner Harbour. In 2017, the boating community remembers and celebrates the life of John West. John's knowledge of and love for boats was surpassed only by his love and care for his wide and deep circle of friends. John is deeply missed, but always here in our hearts.

FINALLY hoisting our sails to cross the Gulf of Mexico.

I was curious to see how my heartrate and 02 levels were affected during my breathwork practice. 30 Deep breaths, followed by a prolonged breath hold - 15 sec recovery breath, repeat for 1-5 rounds :) it was tough to film and remain out of thought, I tried my best and still managed to pull of a decent breath hold .. The results were cool ! this was recorded during my round 2 breath hold. Enjoy

Os presento al velero Gran Nergha. Es un Jeanneau Sun odissey 519 prácticamente nuevo. Nos acabamos de unir por mucho tiempo. Te propongo unas navegaciones a bordo que serán inolvidables. Tenemos diferentes navegaciones, desde un paseo de cuatro horas por la Ría de Vigo, pasarte unos días a bordo conmigo, clases de perfeccionamiento, hasta mi masterclass, la MASTERCLASS SAILING TXEMACAPITAN. Esta última consiste en salir a la mar tres días. Vamos a hacer de todo: Seguridad a bordo, meteorología, navegación, técnica de vela, táctica de vela y unas buenas jornadas gastronómicas a bordo. La primer masterclass será en junio, los días 2, 3 y 4 de junio de 2023, que caen en viernes, sábado y domingo. Aunque, si te viene mejor, puedes embarcar el jueves por la tarde y desembarcar en lunes por la mañana. Gracias a la estrecha colaboración que SAILING TXEMACAPITAN acaba de firmar con MERAK NÁUTICA, empezamos con las prácticas homologadas. Podrás hacer conmigo las prácticas de cualquier título náutico de recreo. Patrón de Navegación Básica( PNB) Patrón de Embarcaciones de Recreo (PER), Patrón de Yate, Capitán de Yate y Ampliación de PER. Puedes venir desde cualquier parte de España. Puedes dormir a bordo. Este vídeo es una presentación de mi nueva etapa con MERAK NÁUTICA y una presentación del barco GRAN NERGHA. Verás como vamos navegando por la ría de Vigo un tranquilo día de abril. También te hago un tour a bordo. Tanto de la cubierta como de los interiores de este precioso y gran barco de vela. Casi dieciséis metros de eslora que nos ofrecen una cubierta diáfana aunque llena de maniobras y aparejos. Pero con un barco tan grande, tenemos una sensación de espacio increíble ¡Qué sensación de libertad! Al bajar la escalera que nos da acceso al interior, nos encontramos una auténtica vivienda. Un salón comedor como protagonista central en el que celebraremos nuestras cenas comentando nuestra singladura y aventuras pasadas. A popa tenemos dos camarotes de matrimonio, al costado un camarote con dos literas. El costado de estribor está flanqueado por la cocina con su gran encimera y sus dos potentes neveras-congelador. Pasando el salón nos encontramos con dos camarotes de matrimonio con sus respectivos baños. Junto a la mesa de cartas tenemos otro baño común que da acceso directo además al camarote de popa a babor. Si estos formatos no coinciden con tus gustos, puedes reservar para ti y los tuyos el tiempo que quieras y me amoldo a a tus gustos.
