Nous quittons le mouillage du Cratère à Nosy Bé après quelques petites réparations, et nous nous dirigeons vers l’île de Nosy Komba distante du dizaine de miles, accompagné par Nérée un habitant du village que nous allons visiter. Nous passerons 3 jours dans la magnifique maison prêtée par Alexandre, un de nos abonné, puis partons à la découverte du village typique. Pas de routes, pas de voiture pas de scooter ni de vélo. Il y a juste des chemins qui serpentent autour de l’île, et tout se fait à dos d’homme. Seuls les bateaux permettent de ravitailler l’île. Et bien entendu pas d’électricité non plus. We spent a week living in a jungle in Panama while we waited for our transit date to sail through the Panama Canal. We explored the area, visited Lake Gatun and the dam that powers the canal and even saw monkeys and crocodiles all around our boat. In the stillness, it was the perfect place to do some boat repairs so we took our genoa down and set up an outdoor sail loft on the trampolines to do some work. Nous naviguons jusqu’à un nouveau mouillage des San Blas recommandé à maintes reprises par des amis, celui de Coco Bandero ! Ce mouillage nous permet d’être très reculés de toute civilisation, loin de tout, mais plus proche de la nature. Nous partons découvrir la vie sous-marine en apnée, il y avait beaucoup de courant, alors nous avions comme l’impression de voler dans l’eau, sans beaucoup d’effort, nous parcourions beaucoup de distance tout en scrutant la vie marine. Nos amis avaient raison, il y a beaucoup de vie ici, des requins, des raies, beaucoup de poissons, des langoustes, etc. Patrice a pêché un poisson baliste, nous avons gardé sa viande et nous avons décidé d’utiliser sa carcasse pour attirer les requins. Nous avions un souper sushis de prévu sur le bateau d’amis, alors nous avons décidé d’apporter la carcasse avec nous et l’attaché au bateau. Quelques minutes plus tard, nous avons eu la visite de 2 requins-nourrice et 2 requins à pointes noirs qui se battaient pour avoir les restes du poisson. *Épisode filmé le 12 au 23 mai 2023.
