Eigentlich ein sehr schönes Segelrevier, doch konnten wir leider an diesem Wochenende durch erhöhte Pegelstände nicht segeln. Da der See direkt vom Rhein gespeist wird hat der Rheinpegel logischerweise auch direkte Auswirkungen auf den Wasserstand und es gab einige überflutete Bereiche, die die Zugangsmöglichkeiten einschränkten. Trotzdem ein paar Informationen zur Location und ein paar Drohnenaufnahmen…viel Spaß dabei…

It was all to play for at the second event of the GC32 Racing Tour 2021 as five teams stood a chance of being on the podium right up to the final race. Big breeze saw the fleet hit some of its fastest speeds in epic race conditions. See who came out on top in the event wrap up.

We sail Seagull from Campbletown to Carradale Bay, where we anchor for the night and spend the day swimming, cooking on the beach and watch the moon rise. We drag anchor early the next morning and leave earlier than expected for Tarbet. Here we eat more fresh seafood and then have a relaxing sail to Tighnabruaich in full sunshine, we can hardly believe its Scotland. After drinks at the hotel who provide serviced mooring buoys at no charge we have a restful nights sleep. The next morning we head ashore for breakfast before we sail to Port Banantyne. After a nights rest we move onto James Watt Dock to pick up further crew. EP 68 Galley (Kitchen) Restoration on our Pearson 34 Sailboat - We are Ready for Sailing Now! Sailboat refits and sailboat restorations take time and effort, but when you see the end result, you realize it was all worth it. This week we completed the final restoration on our galley, we installed EVA Foam to create insulation and installed shelves, and a facia. Cover our countertop with vinyl flooring giving it a butcher block look. It was. Lot of work, especially when you have to deal with curves everywhere. As a bonus, cut our countertop ago to create a two-section approach for our Dometic CFX3 75 DZ Electric Cooler this allows us to access the full capability of both the fridge and the freezer. Ahead of Paris 2024 nearly half of the Olympic sailing World Championships have chosen Marina Rubicón as their venue. The ongoing commitment that this marina has made to become a world class training base is now very much a reality and over the next three months it will host a key moment of the Olympic windsurfing season as the fourth edition of the Lanzarote International Regatta, an event that this year includes the iQFOiL, 49er and 49erFX World Championships.

This short is a part 1 that shows our sailboat Frida af Wisby a Wauquiez 47 PS being hauled out and brought to the yard Cantiere Navale Mulas in Arbatax. We have really got some growths under water that need to be cleaned off. Part 2 will be the next short when the yard work with anti-foul and engine service etc is done and we go back in the water.
