My wife just got a hover board for my son right before the news started saying the blowup, exploding into fire. I don't expect this to happen, but just like the rest of the lipo batteries we have, the charge in the garage over cement. We have many RCs and this can happen with their batteries as well. You just can't live in fear every time the media hypes up something, but I can't blame them, fear drives ratings. Never let a good disaster go to waste.

Changing the back tires on my son's ATV from the 20's to 25 inch tall tires on the back. It's Christmas, the project got bigger. Did a mock-up of the of the Boss Marine radio and speakers in the ATV speaker box and have an issue. I can't get the radio in the box, I am going to work through this, but I am disappointed by this oversight. During the cutting out of the holes I went I dulled a brand new razor, resin is much harder to cut out than I thought it would be. Do not wait till you have the box complete to do your cutting, I also would not have been able to do the mock-up this early. Picked up this Boss Armor 1500m and a Pyle 6.5 inch Subwoofer for my son's ATV and found it does quit well for the cost of the equipment. Get yours at: https://amzn.to/2L9aGaY Update from reading the thread: The only way to get 1500 watts with a 30 amp fuse would be to pump 50 volts through it. "voltage times amps equals watts" So either this amp can handle 50 plus volts, or the company is using bloated numbers, I am going to go with the later. This is done throughout all markets, cars and horsepower, or MPG, light and lumens, the list goes on. Consumers have to do their research, you can just look at specs and take their word for it, you have to know how they got the numbers. The Boss amp only has a 30 amp fuse, so this will never make the wattage they claim, but it should make about 240 watts if you do the math. This is still not bad for a 40 dollar amp. The Pyle 6.5 inch sub sounded alright for no box, it had decant excursion, the manual claims 4mm. I hope for it's size it is very capable once dropped in a box. The Pyle sub claims it can handle 300 watts rms and 600 watts max, but the manual says 100 watts. Hope it will live off this over rated amp, but time will tell. The day started with a great trip to Cafe Du Monde for the famous Beignets. From there we hopped a tour bus over to a place called MardiGras world. This was really cool and we got to see the making of the floats for the largest and most popular Krewes of the MardiGras season. Last video of the night day 2 of the ATV fiberglass box build for a ToaToa 4-wheeler. The box seems to be turning out very well, but I can say even in a well ventilated area like outside, the fumes have given me a sore throat. We put about 3 hours in the build today, most of the time was spent trying to get the fleece right to create the right shape. The electric staple gun really helped, plus I could easily remove the staple if my shape was not right. On the air space of the ATV enclosure I believe it is about .8 ft3, should be enogh space for mid bass and mids. Also the space will go down once I stick a amp in the ATV speaker box, I don't know how the other ATV boxes I have seen on YouTube have near enough space for the driver. So we are at the end of our sailing season... or to be more exact we were at the end about a month ago but it has been 30+mph winds wince then so Rowena has just been sitting on her mooring waiting for a break in the weather. So now that it has we have both taken the day off work and brought her ashore for the winter.

Yacht owners are a unusual bunch. Eric has another boat to his 13m racing yacht. It's a 90 foot maxi which he uses as his "holiday" yacht. Two years ago he embarked with a mate to have the first sailing regatta in Antarctica. This is the story of this grest sailing adventure.

This year's Sailing World Cup Melbourne was moved to St Kilda's Sailing Precinct on Port Phillip Bay. The event had a variety of conditions, consisting of no wind on some days, to a 40 knot squall on another. However most days the venue provided athletes with champagne sailing conditions. Over 180 competitors took to the water throughout the week, this is a glimpse of the regatta. Enjoy. Sail Sydney was held under ideal conditions in Sydney Harbour with 16 different classes of yachts competing. Hosted by Woollahra Sailing Club the sailors of all ages enjoyed the competitive atmosphere.
