MardiGras behind the scenes and a trip to Cafe Du Monde

With it being Christmas week we took a bit of a break from some of our projects and took the family down into the French Quarter and Uptown of New Orleans. The day started with a great trip to Cafe Du Monde for the famous Beignets. From there we hopped a tour bus over to a place called MardiGras world. This was really cool and we got to see the making of the floats for the largest and most popular Krewes of the MardiGras season. We have always loved the Formosa, bought one (on a bit of a whim) late in 2014, moved aboard this one right away and started to do our refit while living board.
