During the sealing and wiring of the speaker box I stuck my multi-meter on it and notice I was getting 8ohm. The amp is capable of 2ohm and with having more power I can turn the amp down more to help reduce distortion. The box size was built for a 10 inch subwoofer, I doubt this speaker will last that long, a couple times it looked like the cone was extending past it's mechanical limits.

The wiring is not done, you can clearly see wires , but it is connected to the ATV battery. The 1500 watt amp is turned almost all the way down, I had it up for a second and did spike at just over 15 amps of power, during the video test the draw was 3 to 5 amps. I thought it sounded very good, especial while sitting on the 4-wheeler. It was louder than I want to listen to music once turned-up. We are very proud of our online presents and our ability to help people all over the world get high quality replacement sails. However, we are a local loft in Victoria British Columbia Canada. We provide sail repair, sail recutting and we can also do canvas work. Building new sails is something that we can do, and have done in the past, however we have found that if we design the sails in our loft and have them produced in the appropriate loft overseas we get a better product at a price that sailers are willing to pay for.

Though before I cut the speaker hole for my son's subwoofer, I would create a video on the way I did this one, and the way I have done them in the past.

So I am planning a subwoofer box that will go on the back of a ATV, it will also be large enough that it can use it as a backrest. You will see 90 degree PVC pipe, this is to make bends to water will not go up the port I hope, also the backrest should shield the subwoofer from the weather.The ports with just the 90s should be long enough to tune the box to between 35 and 40 Hz. Got the speaker box framed in, just running a few tones through it to see how it responds. It is leaking air around the subwoofer, just going to add a little caulk to seal it up. FYI made this box out of .5 inch plywood to keep weight done, and to be more reliant to water, not going to do it again, is a pain to screw into, also has more flex than MDF.
