In this episode we are in La Coruña, Spain. During our two week stay we get to explore the city. We also get our gennaker sail set up on our new furler and hoist it for the first time. We then continue our sail south and sail along the coast of death (Costa da morte) to Muxía, a small fishing village 48 Nm from La Coruña. In Muxía we just make a quick stop but we have time to visit the must-see places as Centuario da Virxe da Barca, the old church just next to the sea. Don't forget to check out the segulls chasing the drone! We are a Swedish couple who wanted a different kind of life. So we moved in to our sailboat RAN, a one-off aluminium built Beason 40, and untied the lines in the middle of the Swedish winter and started sailing south along the coast of Europe. My son just got his Cheerson CX-20 through Amazon for $267.99. I was looking at the same ones like this last year and they were $600 and up. In this video we figure out how to put the Cheerson CX-20 together without reading the directions. The hardest thing to put together was the gimble plate, but the video from this thing was great, even though we had to mount the sony action camera upside down. While flying the Cheerson CX-20 Auto-pathfinder we lost signal to the UAV, good thing it has an auto return feature, bad thing it's not obstacle aware. You will see here were the Cheerson CX-20 Auto-pathfinder flys directly overhead then tries to come down in a tree. Really glad it did not try to land on my wife's truck. This Year Hobie Tiger and Hobie 16 women national Championships in South Africa were held at Laangebaan in the western cape.The sailing was the best we have had for a tiger nationals at Laangebaan in a long time. ****************************************** With the first day ranging between 10 to 15 knts as well as the second day and the third day getting up to around 18 knts. This week I was in Melbourne Australia and took some time to take you sight seeing with me. If I go back to Australia, I want to go to the Outback and see the things that LaVegabonde ended up going to, the countryside. But alas, my work took me to Melbourne and the Easter holiday had me not extending the trip. Join us on our journey as we continue to rebuild, refit and prepare our Formosa 51 Sailboat for our continued cruising journey. We have always loved the Formosa, bought one (on a bit of a whim) late in 2014, moved aboard this one right away and started to do our refit while living board.
