Croazia, Agosto 2016 siamo a bordo di un Etap 24i e ci stiamo spostando da Premantura in direzione Novigrad. Giornata soleggiata ma un vento molto rafficato non ci consente una navigazione rilassata. All'altezza di Parenzo il vento cala sensibilmente e possiamo procedere a tutta tela.

Voilà où nous en sommes en ce 29 novembre 2016. Le concept tire à sa fin. Le village est presque complété et le réseau de ferroviaire sera légèrement étendu sur le plancher de la salle de jeu avec une voie de garage et une loupe supplémentaire. Beaucoup de travail a été fait dans la partie centrale du village, particulièrement dans le port. Il ne nous reste que la façade de la falaise bordant le village ainsi que la portion à droite du sapin en plus de saupoudrer un peu de neige partout. Évidemment, certains éléments tels que de nouvelles figurines dans les wagons passagers, l'aménagement intérieur de mon moulin à scie et certains éléments à caractère ferroviaire devraient s'ajouter jusqu'à la dernière minute. Our Endeavour sailboat, the might S/V Sandflea has brought us to a lovely anchorage in Georgetown, SC. We drop anchor and go exploring. Speaking strictly of the anchorage itself, its probably my favorite anchorage thus far. It takes a bit of tight maneuvering to get your boat tucked in, but once you set the hook, you can enjoy this beautiful place that much more. Calm, quiet, protected, and convenient access to all that Georgetown, SC has to offer. Lot's of excitement in this video! We get groceries, do laundry, and walk around a whole lot. If that's the kind of thing that gets you excited - buckle up buddy... we're about to knock your socks off! Hanauma Bay is a beautiful nature preserve, snorkel and dive spot, and was voted the #1 beach in the U.S. for 2016! We had a beautiful dive with a baby turtle and lots of other cool critters including an octopus, dwarf moray, and a Triton's Trumpet snail. Unfortunately we also encounter a huge net tangled in the reef which we were able to remove. After our 96 minute dive, we began an absolutely stunning drive up the east coast of Oahu to the North Shore. We check out some beautiful scenery, eat lots of tasty treats, "help" carve a humpback whale out of a tree with a chainsaw, check out Nate's old stomping grounds, and enjoy a perfect sunset at Sunset Beach and watch some amazing surfers in action. Our passage from Rapa Nui (Easter Island) to the Gambiers Islands of French Polynesia was one of extremes. For nearly four days, we soared beneath our genoa alone and made over 6 knots average! On the flipside, we were pummeled by two back-to-back gales that made our last five days challenging and exhausting. We were forced to bypass famous Pitcairn (where the Bounty mutineers eventually settled), which was a big disappointment, but the challenges taught us important lessons in accepting things beyond our control. We could not go to some waterfalls as it had rained too much and the water was too strong and also completely brown L so instead we had a fun time at the Capilay Springs on the way back to the boat.
