Wade Young took the overall win at Extreme XL Lagares 2017. Early on in the race the leader changed from Alfredeo Gomez over to Mario Roman until finally at the first riverbed section Wade Young took the Lead. He then carried onto lead the remainder of the race. The terrain was constantly changing from wet and slippery to dry and dusty. However Wade Young still managed to loose no time and stay ahead of the other pro riders. His techniques and overall riding skills were immaculate! Jonny Walker claimed second place as he worked his way up in rank past his competitors. Overall Jonny did extremely well considering this was his first time attending Extreme XL Lagares. Alfredo Gomez did not make it to winning his hat-trick as thought after he took first place on both the prologue and the night time enduro-cross. However he took third place after having issues with his clutch and having to stop in the pits for a short while. In this time his competitors continued and Jonny Walker moved up to third place. The race overall was definitely unpredictable and exiting to watch. The crowds were amazing and so supportive towards the riders creating an energetic and vibrant atmosphere. It's really not as difficult as people seem to think. I spend most of the day with my dog anyways, especially if it's warm out in the middle of the day. If I have to leave him inside the van I cover the front seats so he can't climb up and stare out the window and bark. I cover all the windows with reflectix panels I made for insulation, I turn my fantastic sucking air out on max (replaces all the air in the van every 90 seconds). I crack one window in a shaddy lower part of the van to create a consistent airflow. Other than that the fiberglass roof and insulation do a fantastic job of keeping the heat out. In colder climates I set the furnace on at minimum and close down all the windows same as for heat minus venting. - What happened to the girl? I've spent some quality time homeless, I've struggled financially most of my life, and although I'm blessed with great friends and family as well as being able bodied white and male, I don't subscribe to the belief that you need someone footing your bills in order to travel the world. You need to sacrifice comfort, consistency, safety, time with family, and often your career but it is possible. - Why don't you have 10x more subscribers? My channel isn't that old, many of the bigger channels you can compare mine to started putting out videos a couple years before I began. I could always use your help sharring my videos, spreading the word, and connecting with cross promotional opportunities. Editing and travelling tend to take up all my time.

After several days of sailing up the Keys from Key West, we finally make it to Miami! The wind turned nasty as we made our way over to Dinner Key Marina where we had a mooring ball reserved. This was our first attempt at picking up a mooring ball from the catamaran, and it was hilariously bad. Included in this video for your amusement … We have since figured out what we are doing. ;) We were hoping to have time to hang out in Miami but we needed to give the dogs a huge walk and run around, and we had five loads of laundry to get through after thoroughly soaking all of our bedding - pillows included - during our journey from Key West (see the previous episode for more on that). We went out for a day of scuba diving with Donegal Charters (Richard Kee) to the island of Inishtrahull in Ireland's far north. We completed our Dayskipper practical last episode so were allowed to continue the next 9 days on our own. We met up with our friends, Kevin and Dee from S/V Kejstral and spent our time sailing to nice anchorages around the Ionian. We sailed down to Zakynthos and spent the night anchored in the bay, just our two boats. Unfortunately while we were there someone jumped off the top of the hill and killed themselves so we had to watch the Police recover the body, although we kept our distance. How sad. We've not put that in the video though. A: I live in a van, which certainly cuts costs down but still I need to make some money in order to afford to continue, currently I make 90% of my income through working as a photographer/videographer. I regularly work for Airbnb as a real estate photographer and I also take on bigger commercial contracts whenever I get the chance. - How much does it cost? I spend on average $2000 travelling, most of which is gas, some repairs, food, and on average less than $200 on any eating out, shopping or extra curricular expenditures. I make $200 a month from YouTube and $400 from Patreon. The rest I make from my work. - What camera do you use? It's really not as difficult as people seem to think. I spend most of the day with my dog anyways, especially if it's warm out in the middle of the day. If I have to leave him inside the van I cover the front seats so he can't climb up and stare out the window and bark. I cover all the windows with reflectix panels I made for insulation, I turn my fantastic sucking air out on max (replaces all the air in the van every 90 seconds). I crack one window in a shaddy lower part of the van to create a consistent airflow. Other than that the fiberglass roof and insulation do a fantastic job of keeping the heat out. In colder climates I set the furnace on at minimum and close down all the windows same as for heat minus venting. - What happened to the girl? We decided to go seperate ways (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aPgxDIXxCjY&t=4s) - Are you rich or something? definitely not. I've spent some quality time homeless, I've struggled financially most of my life, and although I'm blessed with great friends and family as well as being able bodied white and male, I don't subscribe to the belief that you need someone footing your bills in order to travel the world. You need to sacrifice comfort, consistency, safety, time with family, and often your career but it is possible. - Why don't you have 10x more subscribers? My channel isn't that old, many of the bigger channels you can compare mine to started putting out videos a couple years before I began. I could always use your help sharring my videos, spreading the word, and connecting with cross promotional opportunities. Editing and travelling tend to take up all my time.

Once again we were out of food onboard, which led us to altering course to Hamilton Island. What a spot! It’s quite unique in many respects… Like, the island has been overtaken by buggies. The electric golf cart type. Its not like there aren’t any cars there, there are even trucks, but certainly the main thing you're going to see is buggies. People take them to the pub, people drive them to work and most noticeably people use them as a means of transportation after a wedding. With ribbons and a “just married” sign. Really funny to see. Hi Everyone, This is our take on the PCA Gimmick Rally organized and put together by our good friends Dave and Jody. They did an amazing job as always putting this shindig together and everyone had a great time! I think there were more than thirty cars broken up unto a few groups and we were assigned one of four different route directions. All in all it was probably 3-4 hours with a couple hours total driving and clue collecting. We had four stops: Carquip, Leaning Tree art house, AutoHaus Boulder, and Adam’s Polishes. We finally ended up at Gordon Beirsch Restaurant for lunch and awards. Watch (and laugh) as we fumble our way through clues, trivia, and poker cards. We even almost get attacked by some wild turkeys along the way! It was perfect day weather wise and everyone had a great time!
