The Swiss Sailing League is a success story. Founded in 2015 it is now the most established sailing format in Switzerland for amateurs. The Swiss Sailing League Association (SSLA) is owned by 41 Swiss sailing clubs. Started with a Super and Challenge League, the Promotion League (also known as 3rd league) was added. Successful is the Master Cup (all of the team members shall be 50 or +). The true success story was the launch of the Women Club Sailing in 2022; now SSLA runs the Women Super and Challenge League with each 12 club teams. SSLA owns 8 J/70 boats that will be provided at every event (currently 23 events!). Markus will leave Swiss Sailing League end of 2025 and hands over the steering wheel to Fabian and the existing board. The big celebration of the 10th anniversary will take place in Versoix, October 3-5, 2025, with a double event (Finals of the Super and Challenge League) and the Presidential race. Thanks to Steff Aellig for his irresistible passion for making good videos in the right place at the right time.

First 2K Event in Switzerland, in Oberhofen (where else?), video provide by Kacper Libera. First Racing Day, October 19, 2025
The motivation of this event (camp and regatta) was to challenge Swiss Sailors (not the top ones) on the sea - that's why the regatta is called "Swiss Sailing League Sea Challenger". We had top coaches - Chris Rast and Tomislav Basic, and Federica Salva. Weather conditions from soft to 24 knots -- all inclusive. At the camp, 12 J/70 in mission, and at the regatta 10. All will be repeated next year and extended.
Last day of the final. Exciting and decisive races. Video produced by Kacper Libera
Rough but good wind conditions. 18 races sailed. Fun with sliding over the waves. Video produced by Kacper Libera.

Whereas on Friday we had races until 21:30 (!), the wind conditions were on second day of the Swiss Sailing League Women Cup 2022 until 15:00 not good. Afterwards, the so-called “Bergwind” came up and great races could be completed. Every team improved the sailing performance, teams participating at the Swiss Sailing League Women Camps performed good. Great ambiance in Biel-Bienne. The organising club “Yachtclub Bielersee” provided perfect land and water organisation. This video was produced by Kacper Libera.
With 18 teams and 90 female sailors the Swiss Sailing League Women Cup 2022 was the biggest women only sailing event in history! Videos produced by Kacper Libera.
After a total of 35 races, the Regattaclub Oberhofen won with a hitchcock-final against Yacht Club Arbon - both teams had the same amount of points. On the 3rd place got Zürcher Segel Club. Many new friendships, many new impressions, a lot of learnings, fair sailing, passion and cooperation. A great women event got to an end. See you next year in Biel-Bienne.
At the Women's Cup in Davos, on the second day, 14 races were sailed. The teams performed better. Various tactics and shifty winds at the luv mark challenged the teams. On land, the dearest of the women took care of the children. Beautiful weather and a great ambiance made all the sailors and organisers with their volunteers more than happy. Regattaclub Oberhofen took the lead, followed by Yacht Club Arbon and Zürcher Segel Club.
In Davos, the 4th Swiss Sailing League Women's Cup took place. The best teams will qualify to the Women's SAILING Champions League 2022 in Lausanne. Host is the DSSC - Davoser Surf- and Sailing Club. Fourtheen teams fight for the Cup.
