Hi All! This is the second of a three-part series on how to perform a Tune Up on your Porsche 356. The Tune sequence is Valves, then electrical and timing, and then carburetor tuning. In this video, we do the electrical bits: Distributor, Plugs, and Timing. It is a straight forward process, but can be a bit fiddly. I’ll run you through everything you’ll need to get through it pretty quickly. After this video, Part 3 will be the carburetor tuning. Our car is a 1958 Porsche 356A T2 Normal Cabriolet, but this general method can be used on 356s and air cooled VWs. Tools: • Feeler gauge: .016 • 13mm and 10mm box wrench • Stubby screwdriver • 7mm Wrench, • New Points: 616-602-226-03 • Distributor Grease (Bosch 5700 002 00) • Spark Plug wrench with universal joint built in. • Anti-Seize • Timing light/Volt-Ohm meter/Continuality Tester We hope you enjoyed the video. Seascape 27 "PURE" is using a fuel cell from EFOY to produce energy on-board. The fuel cell is producing sufficient energy to run the auto pilot or a fridge. It is a perfect solution if there is no space for a genset. Now also with English subtitles, as the sound quality is not always perfect. We are still on a learning curve. :-) We will use the PURE as a technology demonstrator for our project "Next Generation Yachting", which is supposed to create a new type of cruising yacht. Our British shorthair kitten enjoyed his first steps in the catwheel. With a little help he soon realised he should not be afraid of the giant catwheel.

In this episode Matt catches himself his very first Lobster and a whole bunch of Mackerel. Then our lovely heads blocks up and its time to try and unblock it in our bouncy anchorage on a lovely hot day....... When things begin to look up our fridge decides to turn off and stay off, so with no fridge we return to harbour to try to fix it. Corinth Canal, an amazing feat of engineering and a box that required ticking on our bucket list when we began sailing. It was amazing there is no doubt, but what awaited us on our exit into the Gulf of Corinth can only be described as scary. Once over the submerging bridge and through the breakwater we were hit with a 3-4 m swell and winds gusting to 40 knots. With 2 hrs to our destination of Kiato this was going to be a very bumpy ride! Kiato is the first mainland town of Greece we will visit on this journey, and after the trauma of our passage and the horrendous time trying to moor, our first impressions were decidedly poor. The saving grace is that 1 km along the coast road there is a Lidl store!
