This is our third video re-make. This episode we sail away from the beautiful Croatia and are immediately blown away by the sheer rugged beauty of the Gulf of Kotor in Montenegro, we sail further south to clear out of Montenegro at Bar to head to Greece. I've spent some quality time homeless, I've struggled financially most of my life, and although I'm blessed with great friends and family as well as being able bodied white and male, I don't subscribe to the belief that you need someone footing your bills in order to travel the world. You need to sacrifice comfort, consistency, safety, time with family, and often your career but it is possible. - Why don't you have 10x more subscribers? My channel isn't that old, many of the bigger channels you can compare mine to started putting out videos a couple years before I began. I could always use your help sharing my videos, spreading the word, and connecting with cross promotional opportunities. Editing and travelling tend to take up all my time. - Where are you now? Was this the worst night ever on our sailboat? Well folks, the followtheboat crew has NEVER experienced such an uncomfortable night sleeping on a sailboat! This episode also contains some sailing, stormy weather, naughty local boys and the funniest welcome yet in the Anambas islands. :) Some say sailing in Muslim countries is dangerous, but the only dangerous thing we found was a very rolly anchorage! Sailing around the world and checking in and out of countries is always a challenge. In the Anambas it seemed simple to begin with, then we hit the Customs Office... We move to a couple of new anchorages, then anchor in 20m in "the fjord", surrounded by reefs and rain forest, and a fishing village. Contraint de descendre plein sud pour se recaler à l’avant d’une dépression, ce qui l’a légèrement freiné et l’oblige à surveiller très attentivement les zones de glaces, le skipper de MACIF s’attend à reprendre de la vitesse dès ce mardi soir. Il devrait doubler le Cap Leeuwin entre jeudi et vendredi. Pour battre le record, détenu depuis le 25 décembre 2016 par Thomas Coville en 49 jours 3 heures 4 minutes et 28 secondes, François Gabart devra couper la ligne d’arrivée avant le 23 décembre à 13h09 (heure française) sur son trimaran MACIF. En plus de travailler sans relâche pour faire avancer son trimaran de 30 mètres le plus rapidement possible, il devra donc bénéficier d’un enchaînement de conditions météo favorables. Durante il campionato nazionale J80 si è rotto lo strallo di prua. Abbiamo dovuto aprire tutto per fare passare uno nuovo. Ma belle sorpresa, non basta cambiare il cavo, ci vuole tutto un procedimento un po lunghino e non dei più semplice. Dopo aver sbagliato una volta, mi è venuto in mete di fare qualche foto per ricordarmelo per la prossima volta. Lo so non è che si rompe tutti giorni ma la nostra flotta è composta di 9 J80 dunque la probabilità che mi tocca a rifare uno strallo di prua è un po più alta che per i altri Ecco un piccolo filmato della mia esperienza....
