(Ep.54) We fill up our saloon sole with some foam. Go for burgers at Nelson Mandela Bay yacht club. Remove another set of hatch frames. Start taking down the foamilite templates and getting them covered in Vinyl. We fill in the gaps between our hull and window frames for a better finish and this way we don't get the new windows we will be installing full of epoxy & Ricky test paints the deck that we repaired and epoxy primer. The Super 12s Spring regatta commenced with the Seven Islands course up Sydney Harbour where we followed the fleet as they gybed under the Harbour Bridge.

Die Karibik ist unser nächstes Ziel. Wie lange wir dort bleiben und wohin es von dort weiter geht, werden wir entscheiden, wenn es soweit ist. 🎬Deuxième étape changement du moteur avec les moyens du bord, de l'autre côté de la Manche dans la rivère Tamar, après Plymouth! Après une longue traversée (dans le temps) du Brittish Channel à la voile, nous remontons la Tamar valley, pour s'amarer à Calstock! Notre vie se fait au grès des marées qui nous baladent jusqu'au chantier en annexe afin d'assembler 1 moteur avec 2 (notre perkins 4.108 HS et un vieux perkins 4.107), grâce à des palans et une grue manuelle le moteur est sorti à la force des bras!! What’s a FUNGATTA???? Well, it’s a triathlon of events including sailing, diving, partying, and general good times :) When Rick from Sophisticated Lady mentions a regatta up north in Bequia, nestled in the turquoise waters of the Grenadines it sounds like too cool of a mission to pass up. We set sail and buddy boat north to find yet another incredible sailing paradise. The only problem- the race is called off for lack of wind. So what do sailors do when there is no wind? Well the first this that pops into our minds is drinking rum and scuba diving. And so the Delos Fungatta series is born!
