Well here it is.....the end of Season 5 and the last trip on our beloved Leopard 48 Happy Together. This episode was special for us and you will see why. The last 3.5 years has been the best adventure Lennie and I could have ever dreamed of and after 30 years of work we took the time to smell the roses. In reflecting on this journey it occurs to me that our show is part sailing, part cruising, part raising awareness for Warrior Sailing and 100 % love story. We just returned from South Africa to see the Launch of our next Catamaran a Leopard 50 so please join us for Season 6 of Sailing SV Happy Together coming soon! www.svhappytogether.com www.warriorsailing.org Song List: Sailing by Leisure Cruise Changes in Latitudes by Jimmy Buffet You Sang to Me by Marc Anthony You sang to me by Patrick Fay and Marc Anthony on Piano Life's been good to me by Joe Walsh In my Life by the Silver Beatles

Wow, Cappadocia was sensational, it exceeded all our expectations! We were excited to get back to Turkey and last week we enjoyed lively Istanbul and catching up with friends. This week was something completely different - World Heritage listed Göreme area. We join hundreds of other hot air balloons to view the spectacular landscape from above and fill the sky with colour. Words can't describe the feeling! Making the most of our 3 days we take a walk through the surreal landscape, finding our own path through Rose Valley and Red Valley. Passing unique pinnacles and colourful mountains, stopping to explore dwellings carved into the rock along the way. Then finally we are back to Kos and our boat Kawai YAY! We're super excited to get going on our next sailing adventure through the Cyclades Islands, Greece! Follow our Journey Please subscribe if you want to see more, and if you liked the video please give it a thumbs up. If you have a question please ask, we will always get back to you :) About us: Our names are Jason and Tracey and we traded our house, cars, business, job and security for freedom, adventure, travel and living simply amongst nature and the seas on our 45 foot sailing boat, Kawai. We don't know exactly where the winds will take us at this stage but over the next year we hope to visit Turkey, Greece, Montenegro, Croatia, Italy, Spain, Morocco, Gibraltar, Canary Islands and then across the Atlantic Ocean. Jase loves making travel videos and we decided to upload to youtube to share our adventure. Tom Yum Soup by Asian Girl - Le Marin - Martinique - Sailing Nipe EP 18 We left early in the morning from St Lucia, Rodney Bay for a 25 NM sail up to Martinique. When we arrive i was nervous as usual first to dock in the marina and then the customs and immigration for Thea, but i sailed in Nipe like a professional, i`m starting to get hold of this. And we only filled in a form on a computer in the marina and all of us was cleared in, we didn't even show our passport?? Thea also show how to cook Asian stile, a fabulous Tom Yum soup with fish (Blue Marlin) Must do more Asian food.

It's Ryan's birthday in this episode of Sailing Chelsea and we celebrate by hiring a car and exploring some different parts of Northern Tenerife. We drive through some stunning mountains in the north part of the island and get some beautiful footage of rural Tenerife. We also visit one of the best kite surfing spots in the Canaries, El Medano. Ryan gets a drone for his birthday and he has a few attempts at flying it in this episode. As always with Ryan, he's pretty good... more drone footage to come! A little souvenir from our trip to Kenya in February 2018 (I know, took us a while to upload!). Despite the light wind most of the days and very hot weather, we had an awesome trip and absolutely adored our 3 days safari tour. Cheap food, sun and friendly people are all you need! If you’ve never been to Kenya, here are some tips for you: - There is no such thing as favour there, everything has a price. Keep that in mind! - Negotiate your safari with one of the local agency (Marco Polo was a good one, and February is low season. You’ll get to see loads of baby animals too!) - Food is cheap in most places, but you got to be patient because the service may be slow! "Hakuna Matata" - TukTuk is the best way to go around. If you want the best deal, don’t ask your driver for the price but instead ask your hotel or other backpackers and let the driver know how much you are willing to pay for your ride. - If like us you like chilling at the beach, we would suggest booking a hotel with a private beach area. Beach boys in Kenya is really common, and you won’t have 10 min of peace to ready. - If you kitesurf, bring a pair of water shoes with you. You don’t want to step over a sea urchin!
Lagoon is a very successful French cat builder supplying less pricier cats to sailors and charter fleets alike. This 40 provides up to 4 cabins and ample space for a good time on the water. On the smaller Lagoons I particularly like the half-high steering position, which still retains contact to the area above without being in the way. Lagoon 40: https://www.cata-lagoon.com/en/40 I am not in any way affiliated with Lagoon catamarans. Karl is back in the water after welding his belly up and some other problems that needed fixing. Maria, Manny and I take off to a trial run to the Las Perlas islands and a beautiful 40+ gales comes up right on time to test all the fixes we did in yard. All good so far! After Manny went back home again, Maria and I take off to head back to Vista Mar Marina to get our sailboats Karl and Joana ready to head down south to Ecuador. Ahoy, Nike & Karl

We had grown tired of the noise from the Jabsco water pump so decided to see what we could do to make it quieter. Stephen being a 30 year veteran and expert in the industrial pump business, knew that the type of pump being a simple diaphragm pump was going to be noisy regardless, however with a little sound proofing, we thought we could at least make it a little more bearable. Anyone that has a pump like this knows that you do whatever you can to not use the water! You let only a trickle out of the faucet in hopes that you can avoid at least one pump cycle to refill that reservoir and maintain the prime. We think we succeeded a little - not perfect, but at least an improvement. We ended up putting a different more expensive pump in and now it is super quiet. Future video on that coming. It's the Marco UP6 E12/24V , 6.9GPM, Self Priming. It was worth the extra money. Following Simon Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/finding_simon/ Twitter: https://twitter.com/findingsimon Website: http://simonstiles.com/ Asking Simon - Who are you? I'm a Canadian photographer from Ottawa who got rid of everything to travel the world. I make vlogs sharing my ups and downs, and my adventures in vans, on motorbikes, and on sailboats. - Who is Champ? Champ is my handsome 14-year-old Labrador, who travelled almost everywhere with me for his whole life. He loves chin scratches, fetching sticks, and scarfing down cheeseburgers and pizza. - What camera equipment do you use? I use a Panasonic FZ2500, a DJI Mavic Pro, a Rode video micro with Deadcat, a Zihyun Crane 3 Axis Gimbal, as well as DIY tripods and lights. - What are your vehicles? I drove a 1992 Dodge Ram B350 camper van all over North America for about two years. Travelling by motorcycle made for some unique trips. I explored the Canadian Maritimes (and deserts and backroads all over the continent) on a 2002 Kawasaki KL250 Super Sherpa dual sport bike, and also rode my 1999 Yamaha V-Star XVS1100 cruiser with a Champion Escort sidecar across my home country twice. From land to water travels: I currently live and work on a 1979 Wharram Oro 47 catamaran. - What are your plans with the boat? I will fix it up, run it on nothing but green electric power, and sail off into the sunset. Stay tuned for the growing build and the adventures to come! - How do you find all these cool places we see in the videos? To gain access to my complete research and the world traveller’s map I curate during my explorations off the beaten path, you need to hit me up on Patreon. Here are a few websites I frequent: https://freecampsites.net/, https://www.campendium.com/, http://www.atlasobscura.com/, https://www.couchsurfing.com/ - How do you afford your lifestyle? I live and travel economical by using free camping and mooring, cooking my own meals, thoroughly researching products and how-to’s online, practicing a DIY approach, and being as efficient as possible with my resources. I've struggled financially for most of my life, and although I'm blessed with helpful friends and family as well as being able-bodied, white and male, I don't subscribe to the belief that you need someone footing your bills in order to pursue your passion. So, I learned that you DO need to sacrifice comfort, consistency, safety, and a traditional career but that it IS possible, worth it, and the only lifestyle that makes me happy. I make my income almost entirely by creating content for YouTube, but it's a tight budget. Ad revenue, business sponsors, affiliate links, Patreon, Paypal donations, and merchandise sales bring in about as much as a part-time job, and I'm able to make that work. When it isn't enough, I go back to regular work such as photography, videography or construction, but that takes the focus away from my own projects. - How does your dog fit into this lifestyle? It's really not as difficult as people seem to think. I spend most of the day with Champ anyways, since we enjoy similar things, like eating food and being outdoors. I let the constraint of bringing my dog with me help me make decisions about where I go and what I do, so I avoid places that ban dogs, and therefore spend more time in nature instead of in cities. - How do you make it work as a digital nomad? My electrical power set-up allows charging my camera and laptop to film and edit almost daily. For Internet access quick and reliable enough to upload my episodes a few at a time, I use coffee shops and libraries. I also use a data package on my phone (10GB), a WiFi antenna, and a WiFi booster.

What else you got! bring it on Nandji! https://www.sailingnandji.com For the past year we have been limping Nandji with a broken Engine, trying to get somewhere we can replace it. In this episode we depart Belitung, Indonesia and attempt to sail to Nongsa Point Marina where we can check out of Indonesia and head to Malaysia. As we are sailing closer to the equator we deal with heavy 40 knot squalls, strong opposing currents and little wind. A freak accident occurs which causes a fire and then we start taking on water which leaves us convinced that our boat is trying to kill us. We are a young couple with a dog, who with no sailing experience, bought a yacht, got it blue water cruising ready and set off sailing around the Pacific! We have been in Indonesia for a couple of months cruising and are now high tailing to Malaysia for boat work. We departed Australia 18 months ago and have since explored some amazing countries, met some amazing people and experienced cultures, dived pristine reefs, surfed solo in the middle of nowhere, spent weeks at sea, dealt with storms, big waves, strong winds and had the time of our life doing it! In this Episode; Part 2 We're up a River with lots of paddlers if need be! Tricky navigation continues as we motor up the Sittee River, past the silty shallows of the river's mouth where we worry about getting stuck, to a tropical and chilled out marina near the town of Hopkins Belize. This is our first time taking Saltair 3 up a river and it's a gorgeous trip! We welcome our first guests aboard to share the experience of learning to sail a big Cat and what it's really like living a life on the Sea. A week long adventure of learning to sail, getting a taste of what it’s like living on a catamaran in the Caribbean, how we make our power and our water, and how we provision, cook, diesel maintenance and more… all while exploring the amazing Belizean Barrier Reef! We had a great time, made some great friends and shared our lives a step past our videos... They came as strangers to us and left as great friends, although they had a pretty good idea of who we are before the came Lol! This video shares some of the highlights of that first trip… I hope it doesn’t feel like an advertisement, it wasn’t made in that fashion. Simply an opportunity to share with the world, more of the adventure, and that’s what we are all about… Sharing the Adventure! Please SUBSCRIBE and tap on the NOTIFICATION BELL! You too can spend an all inclusive week with us aboard our catamaran Saltair3 learning how to live a life on the sea and leave a small environmental foot print, how to prepare, repair, provision, catch fish and lobster, how to safely check into foreign countries and learn to sail a Big Cat, or just sit back, relax and enjoy being aboard Saltair3 in the warm and beautiful Caribbean Sea. (Ep.64) We run our windlass cable as well as our gas piping. We paint our last coat of paint on the interior. Our engine gets hauled away and we get some bad news about her. On a brighter note, we install our awesome formica counter tops & install our nuovarade hatches as well. We also take the measurements for our beds and saloon cushions & choose our material.
