Follow me onboard Hu'a Miti, a 1977 Gulfstar 37. https://www.sailtahiti.com/en/portfolio-items/gulfstar-37-1977-2/ Built by the famous Gulfstar yard from the Lazzara family in Florida, she has been very well maintained and was refitted last year with a brand new engine and new rigid dodger. Add to that recent sails and rigging, a nice cosy interior and you'll get the perfect yacht for less than 40 000 USD.

Lightning Storms at Sea,Family Fun in Greece then Sailing Italy, Sicily & up the Messina Strait Ep52
Sailing the North West coast of Greece from Lefkada to Sivota Mourtos on the Albanian border, we pick up friends and visit our favourite spots along the way - 2 Rocks Bay and Parga. While still beautiful, some anchorages have become over crowded, dirty and even dangerous. We cross the Ionian Sea, avoiding thunder and lightning storms along the way and travel up the Messina Strait between Southern Italy and Northern Sicily, encountering Italian ferries, sword fish boats (Passerelles) and the first significant tides in the Mediterranean Sea! Stormy weather, medical problems and mechanical breakdowns aside (!) we still find time for adventure and boatlife, family fun along the way. This is the big HONEY! 100 Episodes! Wow. We can’t believe it! A huge thank you for following our crazy adventures, subscribing and supporting us as we get up to all sorts of craziness. Ash and I sat down the other week and had a chat about what on earth we could share with you for our 100th episode. So we did a brainstorm. Like a real brainstorm. There’s over a hundred sticky notes on the wall of the stupid and crazy experiences we’ve had since setting sail. Only a few made the cut :) Some were in the lost years - before film and others, really although they felt crazy in our memories, were kinda boring. But in the end we found some of our favourite, scariest, craziest moments and through this video wanted to re-share them with you with a little explanation. BE BRAVE. Thank you very much, you guys are amazing supporting us with your likes and comments, we really feel that we have a new family out there. Much love Carla & Simon A little bit about us... We met in the summer 2015, we were introduced to each other by the virtual world. Eighteen months later we were getting married on a beautiful beach on Barbados, bare foot, very simple ceremony just like a dream! Two days after the wedding laying on the beach, talking about sailing, Carla suggested... why don't we sail around the world? Guess what Simon said? "Let's do it" He took it with no second thoughts! And here we are, two years after that day in Barbados, we started our adventure in Croatia. We made it happen working through all the challenges on the way. Now we are enjoying this wonderful life, and what a wonderful life it is! As we travel we will cross less fortunate countries, we would love to help to build a school or a health care centre, anything that these people may need, and in our beautiful world this is taken for granted. But for these people it's a dream, or may not even be a dream. We will look around and when the opportunity to help comes we will put our hands and hearts in to it. Much love Carla and Simon
Sailing Coco We settle into Island life in Cyprus, relaxing at Ceylan's parent's house. The village holds a festival, where Ceylan's mum has one too many tequilas. We visit the house that Ceylan's Grandma used to live in and then receive a lesson in making some homemade doughnuts.. as there is no Krispy Kremes in the North side of Cyprus. Follow our adventures! The World Under Sails: We spend the whole summer in the Azores. In episode 18 you will accompany us from Flores to the sailing center Horta, the cosmopolitan meeting point of the circumnavigators and on to Terceira http://annamera.de Seit sechs Jahren leben wir unseren Traum von einer Weltreise unter Segeln.
In this episode of Sailing A B Sea, as Baz prepares to fly to the UK, we have just 3 days to fix a major problem. When a major problem happens it always happens at the most inconvenient time. Baz was getting himself ready to fly back to the UK for a 30 year reunion over a 3 day weekend, which meant Aannsha would be solo onboard wearing the captain's hat which meant we had just 3 days to fix a major problem. This week we take you back aboard SVDreamChaser to ride out a tropical depression that stayed just below a category one hurricane. The storm was to be named Olga if the winds were sustaining over 40 mph. It formed quickly in the Gulf of Mexico and headed north, providing less than 24 hours notice of impact to the Southern Louisiana coastline. We also go downtown PuntaGorda for a Halloween celebration that was fun for all ages. I must say that the people in the area go All Out for this holiday and it had a feel much like a festival. Lastly, we go out in the powerboat on Charlotte Harbor, catch some dolphins on film and do some practice maneuvering to get better at piloting this boat in close quarters. Atlantic Crossing season is approaching! Which has inspired us to create some useful content for anyone about to set off on this epic adventure themselves, or anyone who has loved ones about to head out there... Or of course, anyone who is curious to see what goes on at sea. So here you get a detailed window into how we tackle a 1,200 mile passage from Tahiti to Niue on our little ex-charter yacht. In this episode of Sailing Chelsea, we finally get lifted out of the water to begin the huge task of repairing Chelsea after the storm. We hadn't realised quite how bad Chelsea's hull had got and it was quite shocking to see just how barnacled up she was - poor thing! In our first episode, we head to Tortola, the largest of the British Virgin Islands to survey a Lagoon 440 catamaran that we think might be the perfect boat for our family's adventures. We talk about the lessons we learned in surveying a boat and this trip wouldn't be complete without some snorkeling in these beautiful waters! Hope you enjoy!

Review Cast Iron Fire Pit from CobraCo, but first, we take you on some Florida trails in our jeep on the hunt for firewood. During our unboxing we see our neighborhood eagle at the edge of our pond and we get some really cool video of it. The assembly of this CobraCo cast iron fire pit was pretty easy even though the instructions weren't the best. Our favorite part of this pit was the fire bowl, really heavy cast iron construction. It should last for years to come with proper maintenance and care. Jump To: 1:26 Talk to Ryobi to get a new battery for the chainsaw. 1:50 Hit the trail in the jeep to find wood for our CobraCo fire pit. 4:31 Talk about why we chose the CobraCo fire pit. 6:05 We video a Bald Eagle near our pond. 6:32 Unbox the CobraCo fire pit. 9:04 Put the CobraCo fire pit together. 10:10 We build a fire in the CobraCo fire pit then give you our thoughts on this pit, we also go over what works well to light this fire pit. 12:34 Closing the video and advertizing things to come. We left Superior-Duluth from under the Areal Lift Bridge, and sailed our Pearson 36 Cutter up Lake Superior’s North Shore to the boreal wilderness at Isle Royale National Park. Along the way, we passed by the scenic Split Rock, tall Palisade Head, and solitary Rock of Ages Lighthouse, and stayed overnight at Silver Bay Marina and Taconite Harbor of Refuge.
