Going from 4.10 to 4.88 gear ratio was well worth it! The little 2.5-liter engine in our jeep really struggled to hit 55 mph with the 4.10 gears and 32-inch tires. Now after the gear ration changes, the Jeep can easily do 70 mph on the highway in 5th gear. We start out by going through all the gears then cruising at 30 mph in 5th gear. Once on the trail, we slow things down in 4 low as we show you how slow this jeep can go as it crawls down the trail. Finally, we play in the sandpit, then climb some Florida hills on our search for firewood. Next week we are going to change the gear oil in the diffs and look at the gears. Breakin is done with over 500 miles on theses gears and our install of the ratios is making not gear noise and operating as expected. If you missed the gear change you can go back and look at that. We changed the gears in the DANA 30 and 35 along with the steering stabilizer in previous videos. We purchased this boat new in 2014 and it has been a great rental boat for us, but is now ready to enjoy it's life as a private vessel! This is a great ski boat with features for the whole family! The wakeboard tower is custom to the boat and folds down for tight storage locations. The trailer is a custom Glastron trailer with surge brakes and a fold away tongue. There is a 4 speaker SONY stereo in the boat. There is a bimini top to keep you under some shade on those scorching summer days, as well as flexible rear seating that can pull out as a lounger, and also stow away for easy access to the cockpit. There's tilt power steering, a depth sounder and full gauge package. The interior and exterior are both in great shape and with 792 hours on it the motor has plenty of life left in it, especially having been serviced as well as it has during it's life. We called for assistance and our sailboat was attached, looking back, it surely seemed lot more frightening from inside the boat with all the noises than it really was. Sailing around the world always reserves you some nice surprises. We put this behind us and since the bikini season is ON, we went to the beach near our harbor in South of Spain to enjoy our last day at this point of the Mediterranean. In this episode I also talk a little bit about Lake Palic, since we flew to Serbia to visit my family. Happiness is all around as we watch with excitement our first apparition on a local tv. Diesmal segeln wir von Skaeskør nur ein paar Meilen weiter nach Korsør und ein paar Tage später noch weiter in den Norden auf die schöne Insel Samsø. In Korsør lernen wir René kennen, der hier auf seiner Alma, ein Boot aus Sperrholz, weiter baut. Vor 9 Jahren hatte René angefangen, die Alma zu bauen. Selbst die Segel - 95 m² hat er in über 450 Stunden selber genäht. Für die Naht außen rum hat er alleine über 100 Stunden gebraucht. Ein Wahnsinnsprojekt, was in ca. 3 Jahren beendet sein soll. As predicted, the Cape Doctor, Cape Town’s renowned strong, local south-easterly wind came in for the penultimate day of racing at the first event of the 2020 season – the Odzala Discovery Camps 52 SUPER SERIES V&A Waterfront Cape Town regatta – to produce some thrilling racing. With Morgan Larson steering, Jonathan McKee on tactics aided by Alberto Barovier on strategy, Bronenosec won the only race of the day after making the best of a significant wind shift on the first run and choosing the favoured turning mark at the leeward gate. But while the Russian-flagged team ran out winners ahead of Quantum Racing, a fourth for Hasso Plattner’s local favourites on Phoenix ensures the South African team – steered by the hugely experienced Plattner – closes the gap on regatta leaders Azzurra. The defending champions lead into the last day by seven points.
