This boat project aims to protect the fiberglass and prevent future gelcoat repair. Now the maja is protected from future damage. When you raise the anchor, it is easy for the anchor to cause damage to the boat. Our boat had damage to the gelcoat and we had to find a solution. Our solution was to mount a thick steel plate in the bow of the boat. This will be screwed in place, and in this way protect against damage. The anchor is the Vulcan 25 kg, with 100 meters of 8 mm galvanized chain. Sailing is a lifestyle, but it also requires constant vigilance and care.
