In this episode, we take you through a DIY watermaker I built about a year ago, showing you how it all works and how it's held up after a year of use. Let us know what you think of our setup! Would you build something like this for your own boat, or would you stick with a pre built system? #sailing #boatprojects #boatupgrades #boatmaintenance
G'day guys! This week we're making our way back down the coast, taking advantage of a rare stretch of good weather! Along the way, we stop to explore a few islands and stumble across something we definitely weren't expecting — an abandoned island resort that's been left to rot for the past 18 years. Once a tropical holiday paradise, it's now slowly being reclaimed by nature after years of vandalism and neglect. Come along as we explore a little more of Australia's coastline and see what we can find! #sailing #sailingaustralia #islandadventure
We had a short two-day weather window to head out to the Great Barrier Reef. With reef fishing still pretty new to us, we spent most of our time underwater exploring and seeing what we could find. Between the incredible weather, plenty of fish and a few curious sharks, we had an unreal couple of days out here! Jump on board for a little glimpse of our time on the reef! #spearfishing #sailing #greatbarrierreef #fishing
G’day guys! This one’s a little different from our usual adventures. We spend a few days keeping busy and waiting out some wild winds, anchored off Airlie Beach. We’ve been using our homemade flopper stoppers quite a bit now, and they’ve been working very well, so we thought we’d share the process of building them and see if we can help anyone else out there dealing with a rolly anchorage! #Sailing #SailingAustralia #SailingLife #FlopperStopper #BoatProject #BoatLife #SailingAdventure #Liveaboard
This episode, things don’t exactly go to plan. Our watermaker decides to give us a few headaches, forcing us back to the mainland to find water and the parts we need to get it running again. Then, on the way in, our tender decides it’s had enough and basically starts falling apart. A few unexpected problems and plenty of adventure along the way. We hope you enjoy coming along for the ride! #sailing #sailingaustralia #sailingadventures #CruisingAustralia #boatlife #liveaboard #oceansailing #whitsundays #whitehavenbeach
This episode we head 15 miles north to one of Australia’s most famous beaches — Whitehaven. With its insanely white sand and crystal clear turquoise water, it’s not hard to see why this place is so special. We had a lot of fun putting this episode together, so sit back and enjoy the adventure with us! #sailing #sailingaustralia #sailingadventures #CruisingAustralia #boatlife #liveaboard #oceansailing #whitsundays #whitehavenbeach
Flying along today with a top speed at 8.9 knots, not bad for an old steel sailboat! We found a beautiful anchorage to drop the hook, then finished the day with some homemade sushi. 🍣 All the hard work goes into getting days like this. #sailing #boatlife #cruising
This video starts with us sailing from Bundaberg to Lady Musgrave Island. After exploring the island, we jumped straight into what turned out to be the best diving we’ve ever experienced. From whales to manta rays, it honestly felt like we were on another planet beneath the surface. #spearfishing #sailing #catchandcook cook #lifeatsea #freediving
