Das Wassersport-Camp liegt versteckt im Wald mit Blick auf Usedom und Achterwasser oberhalb der Bootsstation am Peenestrom im Naturpark Usedom. Übernachtungsmöglichkeiten in Finnhütten für Selbstversorger sowie Stellplätze für Camper und Wohnmobile stehen zur Verfügung. Für Bahnreisende wird der Transfer zum Bahnhof Hohendorf angeboten. Die große Terrasse vor dem Gemeinschaftshaus lädt ein zu „Apres-Sail" und Grillabenden am Lagerfeuer mit Wasserblick auf den Naturpark Usedom. Ein zentrales Sanitärgebäude befindet sich in unmittelbarer Nähe. Die Bootsstation vorm Bauerberg ist der Ausgangspunkt für Kurse, Ausflüge und Touren in das Revier zwischen Usedom und dem Festland. Von der Terrasse des Camps können die ersten Trimmfahrten der angehenden Katamaransegler verfolgt werden. Der Bootspark umfasst Strandkatamarane von Hobie Cat und Topcat. Vom „Einhandkatamaran" Hobie 14 bis zum Hobie 21 mit Wings ist für jeden Einsatzzweck etwas dabei. Das Wassersport-Camp am Peenestrom freut sich auf Ihren Besuch!

Penny Clark: Olympian turned Coach Having competed at the Beijing 2008 Olympic Games for Great Britain and only narrowly missing out on selection for London 2012, Penny Clark is now paving the way for the next generation of Olympic hopefuls. Clark, who raced for Great Britain in the Laser Radial class at the Beijing Olympics, is now a coach for the British Sailing Team's Podium Potential Programme, using her campaign experience to help younger sailors make the transition into the world of Olympic classes sailing. Having hung up her sailing boots in 2013, the former world number one in the 470 class shares her experiences as a British Sailing Team Laser Radial coach, reasons for turning to coaching after her retirement from Olympic classes sailing as well as some top tips for any aspiring or current coaches. A conversation with Mark the Rigger in Oriental, North Carolina. Mark replaced all of the standing rigging on our Westsail 42 Paragon. He also helped us to install a new bowsprit, step the mast, tune the rig, rebuild all our winches, and much much more before we pushed off on our 6000 nautical mile voyage from North Carolina to Iceland.

The WIDER 165' superyacht is an evolution of her smaller sister, the 150'.
