Spiagge dorate dai bassi fondali, ghiaia dai ciottoli bianchi. C'è un mare per tutti! Piena di viuzze e scalinate, monumenti, la chiesetta di Maria SS. del Rosario, la Chiesa Madre al Castello Arabo-Normanno specialità gastronomiche tipiche della zona. Il 15 giugno dell'827, un gruppo di arabi occupò il territorio di Castellammare del Golfo. Sul promontorio costruirono il primo nucleo del castello. Dopo circa due secoli, i nuovi conquistatori, i normanni occuparono il castello e lo ampliarono. Con il passare de secoli gli abitanti aumentarono e intorno al castello ebbe origine il borgo oltre il ponte, poi un altro ponte e cosi la città crebbe. IL MUSEO ETNO ANTRPOPOLOGICO Situato a est del Castello il museo è illustra i diversi aspetti della civiltà contadina. Conserva oggetti d'uso delle coltivazioni agricole più diffuse nel territorio come quelle dei cereali, della vite, dell'olivo ed utensili di diverse attività artigianali, e oggetti della vita quotidiana . A pochi passi di Cala Marina, c'è il Museo del Mare. IL VELIERO XV SECOLO Il relitto di un veliero, ritrovato nel luglio 2009 dal castellammarese Vito Sottile, archeologo, nelle acque antistanti la spiaggia è una delle più belle realtà restituitaci dal mare. nelle vicinanze di Castellammare del Golfo, da molti anni esiste: LA RISERVA DELLO ZINGARO (Riserva Naturale Orientata). comprende i territori dei comuni vicinori: Castellammare, Custonaci S. Vito Lo Capo, raggiungibile con mezzi pubblici o in macchina, da non perdere le zone di: Guidaloca - Scopello Lo Zingaro è stata la prima riserva naturale orientata istituita in Sicilia, visitandola si torna indietro nel tempo, in luoghi sempre meno presenti in Sicilia. SCOPELLO altra località interessante vicino Castellammare; immersa nel verde siciliano, arido nella calda estate, malinconico in autunno.
