Tahar, originario di Zarzis, adesso vive a Erryad, il villaggio di Djerba famoso per i suoi murales d'autore, che ospita tanti artisti e scrittori stranieri. Le opere di Tahar hanno l'anima del mare, il vero mondo di questo pittore che ha esposto in Italia, Francia, Svizzera e Stati Uniti. Ma il legame più forte è quello con l'Italia. E anche stavolta c'entra il mare: cinque anni fa, durante un'immersione a 130 miglia da Mahdia, fu colpito da un'embolia. I soccorsi partirono da Lampedusa e dopop qualche giorno di camera iperbarica ebbe salva la vita. Poi fu trasferito a Sciacca dove fece riabilitazione per cinque lunghi mesi. E lì, in quella struttura della Fondazione Maugeri, si fece dare tele, colori e pennelli e trasformò un ospedale in una galleria. Time ran out for Sailing Bye Felicia at the marina so we topped off our fuel and water and set out to find a new home. The boatyard haul out was schedule for 3 days later so we needed to find a safe spot to anchor. Matt being familiar with Key West waters found an excellent anchorage spot for SV Bye Felicia. We saw turtles, dolphins, parasailing, catamarans, sunset sailing cruises, massive cruise ships, and Matt's previous yacht where he worked in another life. Da sind wir wieder! Die letzten zwei Wochen hatten wir Besuch von Andrés Bruder René. Und oh man was waren das für tolle und ereignisreiche Tage hier auf Martinique! Wir haben uns zusammen Fort-de-France, Saint Pierre und Saint Anne angesehen. Zu dritt auf unserer 10 Meter Carter war tatsächlich gar kein Problem. Im Gegenteil: wir hatten super viel Spaß zusammen und hatten auch ein paar tolle Abende mit unseren Freunden von der @Allonzee ! Wir haben immer noch keine Drohne, aber zum Glück Freunde, die uns immer mal wieder aufnehmen. Ach und dann ist da noch etwas tolles passiert...André hat mir im Botanischen Garten einen Antrag gemacht! Sein Bruder hat den Ring aus Deutschland mitgebracht. Ich habe nichts mitbekommen und war komplett überrascht, aber suuuuper glücklich! Unsere Instagram Follower haben das bereits mitbekommen und nach unseren Hochzeitsplänen gefragt. Aber nein wir haben noch nichts geplant! :) Erstmal müssen wir unsere Manatee wieder fit machen. Dazu aber mehr im nächsten Video! Binnen durch den Kontinent - Rhone stromaufwärts Teil 4 Unser Segelboot Squib, ein Catalac 9M, ist in die Jahre gekommen, die Verkleidung hängt teilweise von der Decke, die Farbe blättert ab, die Elektrik auf dem Stand des vorigen Jahrtausends,..... Ein Refit steht an. Doch Broterwerb und Verpflichtungen lassen es nicht zu, monatelang in Griechenland am Boot zu arbeiten. Da wird schon 2018 die Idee geboren Squib nach Wien zu bringen, wo man jederzeit Zugang hat, der Einkauf von Material in der Muttersprache abgewickelt werden kann und alles andere seinen gewohnten Verlauf nimmt. Bereits 2018 starteten wir Richtung Wien, doch ein Motorschaden in der Straße von Messina zwang uns, den Überstellungstörn abzubrechen. Am vierten September kamen wir in Wien an, 980 Seemeilen und 2120 km über die europäischen Wasserstraßen lagen hinter uns. Seitdem liegt Squib in der Wiener Kuchelau, der Refit hat bereits begonnen.
