Swan 48 'Bella Luna' continues her 1,500 nautical mile voyage to Tortola with captain AJ Smith and crew Drake Roberts and Monique Davis aboard. They enjoy their first dinner at sea, try to catch a fish, and discuss the importance of sunscreen at sea. They get a little spooked in the Bermuda triangle when they see something mysterious underneath the surface of the water. On their 3rd day at sea they are then joined by a pod of dolphins riding their bow wave.

So sieht es in und auf der neuen Class 40 "mare" von Jörg Riechers aus, die SegelReporter in Newport steuern durfte

Mit 1007 km der längste Fluss der iberischen Halbinsel, er entspringt in 1600Meter Höhe im Gebirge der Sierra de Albarracin im Osten von Spanien, fliesst durch die iberische Halbinsel vorbei an zahlreichen Städten wie Madrid, Aranjuez, Toledo, Talavera de la Reina, Alcantara und durch die portugiesische Stadt Santarem und mündet schliesslich bei Lissabon in den Atlantik. Im Einzugsgebiet des Flusses leben 9.5 Mio Menschen, 2/3 davon in Spanien. Wenn man vom Atlantik kommt, ist die Fahrt in den Fluss ein Erlebnis. Vorbei an den wichtigsten Sehenswürdigkeiten geht es unter der imposanten Hängebrücke des 25. Aprils in den Hafen.

Ein Kreuzfahrtschiff bringt mich nach Valencia, der drittgrössten Stadt Spaniens. Leider hab ich nur knapp zwei Stunden Zeit, genug um vor der Kathedrale ein Glas Wein zu trinken und die Stimmung dort einzufangen. Eine beeindruckende und grossartige Stadt, hierher komme ich ganz bestimmt wieder und dann schaue ich mir alles in Ruhe an.
