The Tryst trimaran is a variation on the 2 sheet Duo dinghy. Both outriggers are made from one sheet of plywood and bolt to extended wing/beams This was the first time I sailed the Tryst and I was using a new gooseneck which I had fitted too low. The last still shot shows the whole boat, including spars and sail, in the back of our pickup truck which has a 6ft long bed. You can build your own Tryst from plans by Woods Designs. I'm in the process of getting my dog accustomed to being aboard Obelix (an Albin Ballad, 30 ft sailboat). Jökull is a three year old Icelandic sheepdog. He hasn't spent very much time aboard so he's still a little stressed out while aboard.
Caribbean sailing adventure continues with Distant Shores. Starting with the magic of a Grenadian summer we cruise the southern Caribbean. Carnival is an exciting event in this lush island, and we also explore in the rain forests with a local running club. Then its off to the Grenadines, visiting Carriacou, Petit Martinique and Union Island before heading to cruising hotspots, the Tobago Cays and Bequia. Then its a 3 day passage on to the Turks and Caicos. From here we visit the Bahamas Outislands and much more!

This LeisureCat 9000 Kingfisher has been fitted with the Optimus 360 by SeaStar that uses state-of-the-art electronics to provide easy 360-degree maneuvering capabilities when docking, negotiating crowded areas or loading a vessel onto a trailer. Even novice boaters using the Optimus 360 Joystick Control System can confidently move the boat forward, backwards, diagonally, rotate it on its own axis, or even move sideways to accomplish tricky docking maneuvers. As the operator easily moves the joystick, the SmartCylinders respond instantly to independently steer each outboard, engage forward/neutral/reverse gears and apply throttle as needed to move the boat exactly where the operator wants it to go.
