Title says it all on this one.. was a beautiful Saturday afternoon on the beach at White Bay on Jost Van Dyke in the British Virgin Islands, Caribbean! My favorite color has always been turquoise.. just like the shallow waters in the Caribbean, and White Bay sure delivers its share of that! Top it off with some good friends around, cold beers, great local music, and a nice palm tree to plant your butt under for shade, and you've got the makings for a great day off... something I don't get very often, but I sure enjoy when I do! Race 3 of the Spring series, which ended up being the first official race of the season. Two races occurred, but I only finished the first. It was still a fantastic sailing day and was my first sail solo.

The end of the I'M BINCK festival, so our paper boat Binkie was hauled out of the water for the last time. We expected it to disintegrate before the end of the festival, but surprisingly he's still in good shape after 4 weeks in the water. Mixed emotions, proud that he kept well these weeks, sad to put him on the hard and say goodbye.
