We keep a lookout for coral heads crossing the Caicos Bank under sail and try out going aloft to extend our view. Sailing in the shallow waters of the Exumas (in the Bahamas) we slow down to avoid coral patches and dive down to check what the bottom looks like on the shallow banks. IMPI is sailing around the world. We left New Caledonia along with the Down Under Rally Group (John Hembrow) and arrived in Bundaberg, Australia. Although we have not previously joined a rally group and enjoy sailing the oceans 'solo' - we could see the benefits in joining the Go West Rally - meeting up with many friends and making new friends all at the same time. Bundaberg is a port of entry into Australia and a great place to stock up with supplies at Bundaberg Port Marina who transport one as part of the package into the main town. We take a look over Ludde Ingvall's new CQS; rebuilt from his successful 90' yacht Nicorette he has extended the yacht to 100' and added a DSS foil, deck spreaders anda 4 metre bowsprit. The rebuild was undertaken at the Southern Ocean Marine Boatbuilders in Tauranga, New Zealand. CQS's first race in Australia was the 2016 Rolex Sydney Hobart Yacht Race.
