After our delivery we drove to town while going over some Disney fun facts. Then after a shopping trip to Wal-Mart, we ate dinner at Olive Garden.

A lot has happened since we took our mast down - what was supposed to be a simple job, of course turned into something more complicated. It was also compounded by Robi injuring his thumb and not being able to lead our project as easily. But we plowed through and got the mast back standing again. I did a ton of research to find the most reliable but simplest autopilot that I could for our hydraulic steering system on our 1973 trawler. Raymarine and Garmin were nice but too much money for features we did not need. We wanted something that we could simply set a compass heading and the pilot would keep the boat on that heading. Two brands looked good. Comnav and Si-Tex. We went with Si-Tex SP-70 and could not be happier. This pilot steers the boat straighter than we can by hand especially in swell. We traveled the entire Atlantic ICW from Norfolk to Miami aboard our trusty Endeavour 32 sailboat the S/V Sandflea! ...but now... we're stuck in Miami. Turns out that these winter "Northers" are no joke. Persistent, strong winds for days and days on end keeps us pinned down for over a week. So, what do we do?
