After dropping off our dive guide, Johnny and over 800 metres of rope that we found at Yandina we set sail overnight for the Western Province for Peava. After anchoring in the lagoon we take a walk around the village before diving the outside wall of the lagoon.

The eastern Med never fails to amaze. Our stops were largely dictated by what we heard from other cruisers. Someone would say "you have to go here, here, and here", and that's where we'd go. These were some of the best times we'd had.

Vlog#11 This time we sail from Fort Bragg to San Francisco. The trip took around 24 hours and we were tired and ready to get in to see the bridge! Once we got in an anchored surprisingly to us an airshow started up right away! so instead of our usual ritual of having a nap, we obviously had to stay up to watch it! We had no idea what it was for or what was going on so we had to google it and realized it was a FOUR DAY AIR SHOW right above us for fleet week! It was crazy, very cool to watch, but definitely insanely loud! We toured around San Fransisco to see some sights! Did a much needed walk and stretched the legs up and town the crazy incline streets! At this point we are happy that we do not have to cross bars anymore! The hard part is finally over! Before we depart the area and head west, we first go south to the island of Langkawi, Malaysia where we planned to provision for the coming months of sailing. The world was on edge at this stage as the pandemic really started and countries were confused. Borders were still open so we headed to Langkawi and prepare for what would lie ahead. After clearing out of Thailand you have 48 hours to depart, as it was late in the afternoon, we thought we would rest for the night and have our last meal cooked by someone else. We spend our last Thailand Baht and then the next morning we are sailing! With the perfect weather for sailing, we head out to sea under motor. We hoist full sail and with a gentle breeze on our back, set up to fly Unicorn Fart, our A-symetrical spinnaker. This is only the second time flying the sail but it is such a great sail to play with and it is so much fun to use! We are en-route back to the scene of where our mischief occurred, as we have unfinished business with a reef! With no sailing experience, we bought a yacht, got it blue water cruising ready and set off from Australia sailing to the Pacific! We have since cruised through New Caledonia, Vanuatu, the Solomon islands, Papua New Guinea, Indonesia and then onto the boat yard in Malaysia to prepare for the years to come. With a new engine, we continued onto Thailand, then back down into Indonesia and specifically West Sumatra to live the island life and chase the surf. With our Sailing plans changing, we returned to Thailand to wait for the weather and begin our journey to the northern route of the Indian Ocean to Sri Lanka before heading south across the Indian Ocean once cyclone season has finished and the trade winds begin! We were on our shake down sail when the mooring we were on failed on our home ended up on the reef. We saved the old girl and got her back to the boat yard for repairs to continue on our adventure! We departed the east coast of Australia in July 2017 and have since sailed over 10000nm offshore. We have explored some amazing countries and met some beautiful people along the way. We have experienced so many different and diverse cultures, dived pristine reefs, surfed solo in the middle of nowhere, spent weeks at sea, dealt with storms, big waves, strong winds and had the time of our lives doing it!
