The naturally generated reflections are used to create a visual form of the speed of light, a kind of flash light on the water. Thanks to "Things to Do" with the CSSC, along with our friends and neighbours (who are also members of CSSC), enjoyed our first visit to Wrest Park, courtesy of our CSSC Memberships. Really enjoyed it and will return.

In this video we are taking our narrowboat through the Harecastle tunnel in Stoke on Trent. It was like a ride from Alton Towers! We’re Stephen and Kayleigh an English/ Scottish couple and along with our two dogs Hugo and Coco we will full time on board our 37ft narrowboat Grayswood. After living nearly two years in our self-converted campervan we decided we needed more space. So, as a compromise (Ste wanted a boat, I was happy in the van) we decided we would purchase a boat after spending some time on our friend’s narrowboat. Grayswood was conveniently located less that 5 minutes from my work and was found kind of by accident. I was visiting a friend who was staying in Aston Marina and whilst we were out walking the dogs, I seen the advert for Grayswood. I said to my friend “that looks a nice boat” and as I said it the marina manager appeared and asked if we would like a look inside. Naturally we did. After looking inside, the boat I texted Ste and told him I’d found us a boat. We made an offer after going back for a second viewing, after some negotiations within a week she was ours pending a survey. She was hauled out the following week and the survey went well. We kept her out on the hard standing for a further six weeks whilst we renovated the insides including fitting a new kitchen and bathroom.
