Anfang Oktober 2021 sind wir mit unserem Mini 6.50 "Polka" rund Fyn gefahren. Wir sind nach der Arbeit gestartet und am ersten Tag nur bis Damp gekommen. Für den nächsten Nachmittag war Sturm und Regen angesagt, daher sind wir nur bis Söby gefahren. Vor Fredericia sind wir in der Flaute hängengeblieben die uns bis Spodsbjerg die Treue gehalten hat. In Bagenkop haben wir Freunde getroffen und dann ging es auch schon zurück nach Kiel. Unser Mini 6.50 hat seine Herbsttauglichkeit bewiesen, das machen wir gerne wieder.

Got to visit the Maritime and Seafood Industry Museum in Biloxi Mississippi. I highly recommend it if you are in town or passing through. It was only $10 per person and have 3 floors of great displays. In this video I focused mainly on the sailboats. Each of theses sailboats have been restored by by the locals after the hurricanes. Some found floating at sea. Lots of great information on these working sailboats.

After sailing over 200 nautical miles north from Seattle, we head into Princess Louisa Inlet, known as "one of the most beautiful anchorages in the world", and experience four-months-worth of rain in just two days. The storm, though, leads to a number of unexpected situations making our visit to Princess Louisa Inlet both challenging and exhilarating. Endlich in Schweden angekommen machten wir uns von Bua am nächsten morgen gleich wieder auf und setzten die Segel Richtung Donsö. Wir hatten die hübsche Insel in den Schären schon im Vorjahr besucht und freuten uns schon erneut zwischen den Eiszeitfelsen hindurch zu segeln. After our night sailing passage across the English Channel from England to France arriving in the French city of Brest we explore the area while waiting for the weather to cross the mighty Bay of Biscay. We take a walk in the city and take a peak at the naval base but then are totally blown away by some of the hidden history and forbidden fortresses from Napoleonic times and WW2 on the Roscanvel Peninsula.
